Halloween Havoc 1993 just like every WCW event in the early 90's was intense and hardcore.
The classic match from spin the wheel make the deal between Cactus Jack and Big Van Vader was explosive.
These two go all out in a brutal brawl that will always be one of my favorites for years to come.
I saw this event live on pay-per-view and this was no disappointment.
The under card was also good with matches involving The Nasty Boys, Steve Austin, Marcus Bagwell, 2 Cold Scorpio, Sting, Rick Rude, Rick Flair and many more.
Another classic WCW event that shouldn't be missed.

The "Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal" Texas Death Match bwt Big Van Vader and Cactus Jack was one of the greatest matches of the year, no doubt. In other great matches - the British Bulldog challenged fellow Brit, WCW TV Champion Lord Steven Regal; Sting fought Sid Vicious for the second time at a Halloween Havoc pay-per-view; "Stunning" Steve Austin challenged US Champion Dustin Rhodes; the Nasty Boys challenged tag team champs 2 Cold Scorpio and Marcus Bagwell; and a great world title match between "Ravashing" Rick Rude and Ric Flair.

It was a pretty good event.The Nasty Boys wins the titles back,Ric Flair vs Rick Rude for the world heavyweight title,Cactus Jack battles Vader in a Texas Deathmatch.If you do not have this tape then buy it now.You will watch it until the day you die.

Top to bottom a great wrestling card. No miss-matches. Every match got better as the program went along. The main event was great betwwen World Champ-Vader and Cactus jack.

it was a great ppv because u get to see a texas seath match between cactus jack and vader which set the ecw standards for hardcore wrestling and u get to see vader toss cactus jack's salad

This was classic wrestling! If you are a true fan of wrestling and not gimmicks,this was one event of few gimmicks like you see today. Some of the matches include: Lord Steven vs British Bulldog in a classic match between two brits, Steve Austin(PRE stone cold) vs Dustin Rhodes(Goldust), Sting vs Sid, also there are a few wrestlers such as booker t and buff before they were big names, on the undercard. And the main event is one of the best matches of 93 between Vader vs Cactus Jack. It was bloody,brutal, and more hardcore than any WCW wannabes nowadays. Buy the video. It's well worth it

Remember WCW before Hulk Hogan and the NWO. Well here it is. Go back to the day when WCW was ruled by superstars such as Vader, Sting, and Cactus Jack(Mankind in the WWF). If you are a wrestling fan this is a great tape. The main event is a match between Cactus Jack and Vader. They have to spin a wheel with all types of dangerous matches on it. Whatever it lands on is what they have to do. I reccomend this video.

First thing, I like WCW, I watched WCW since 1992. Second thing, I like Cactus Jack and Vader. With that said, this is the most overhyped and overrated match of all time, I am talking about Cactus Jack vs Vader(death match). The match is slow, its sloppy and the rules make no sense. Gary Capetta says their can only be a winner by Pinfalls or Submission and then right after it says Pinfalls dont count??? Then they have a 30 second rest period after pinfalls (which is more like whenever the ref feels like telling em to go at it again) and why do they have that? both guys looked ready to go after each other seconds after the pinfall. Then when the match is over, the fans nor myself even realize it..a delayed reaction. "Oh its over?!" completely messed up all around. The hardcore wasnt that special...even for 1993. WCW had done more hardcore things in 1992 and more exciting. The best part of the match was Cactus being squashed on the ramp by Vader. Otherwise, this match was a mess. The rest of the ppv was average. so I give it 2 stars. I didnt like it when I watched it back then and its even worse now.

Paul Orndorff defeated Ricky Steamboat

WCW World Television Title Match;

Lord Steven Regal(William Regeal)fought Davey Boy Smith to a draw.Therefore Lord Steven Regal retains the World Television Title.

WCW U.S Title Match;

Dustin Rhodes defeated Steve Austin to retain the W.C.W U.S Title

W.C.W Tag Team Title Match;

The Nasty Boys defeated Marcus Bagwell(Buff Bagwell)and 2 Cold Scorpio to win the W.C.W Tag Team Titles.

Sting defeated Sid Vicious(Sycho Sid).

W.C.W International World Heavweight Championship Title Match;

Rick Rude defeated Ric Flair to win the W.C.W International World Heavweight Title.

Spin the Wheel,Make the Deal Match;

WCW World Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader defeated Cactus Jack in an "Texas Death Match".

All the Matches were great and Cactus And Vader had a Classic death Match to Boot.
