yup, thats right, i was there at the Asheville Civic Center, to watch this PPV.

I had lower level seats. near the 'bad-guy' entrance way.

matches included : Sting vs Vader (leather Strap match) Vader lost a hunk from his ear in a result of this match, very brutal match, one of the better matches in WCW history.

Pillman vs Scotty Flamingo Flyin Brian vs the man who we now know as Raven. THis was a Lightheavy Weight title match, good match, i remember it well, because Pillmans death made me realize, and think of the times i saw him give his all in the ring.

Windham vs Muta w/Flair awarding the belt this was for the NWA title, decent match, but Flair brought the house down in his return from the WWF.

Maxx Payne did the star spangled banner on his guitar, ala Hendrix, good show guys

Perhaps the most underrated moment in wrestling in the last 25 years: Barry Windham wins the NWA World Heavyweight Championship...need we say more?

Also a very choice pre superstardom Chris Benoit v. 2 Cold Scorpio match is there as two bust their butts in an opening match that shows exactly why these guys were so good.

I rented this video before i liked because they saw the return of the Nature Boy Ric Flair, Sting and Vader put on a great strap match, and even saw Vader bleeding, and the British Bulldog made his debut in WCW that night.
