WD-40, Duct Tape and a Hammer - a real man's basic tool kit,
By
This review is from: WD-40 10005 Multi-Use Product Spray, 5.5 Oz.
Is there anything WD-40 can't do? My office chair was squeaking for weeks. 30 seconds after a squirt of WD-40 and I was blessed with silence. My screen door was sticking - pssst, pssssssst and it was as smooth and a lounge lizard's pick up line. My BMW has the dreaded clutch pedal creak - psssst psssst (every few weeks) and the sound goes away. Tar spots on your fenders? Squirt a bit on a rag and rub. The spots will dissolve before your eyes. My Mountblanc pen developed a squeak (really) that could be heard when I twisted the barrel to extend the refill. I took the cap off the WD-40 can, sprayed a few drops in and applied it to the pen with a toothpick. Mission accomplished. From garage door tracks to door hinges to bicycle chains to where ever metal rubs against metal (or plastic against plastic...) WD-40 should be there. Your shop needs WD-40, duct tape and a good hammer.

WD40 is a must anywhere friction takes place. After a few squirts all squeek will be gone or if parts stick when they shouldn't they won't anymore.
