First of all, who would have thought that a product name WD-40 will become a household name? It is a terrible name. It is almost impossible to remember such a name unless they did something right. WD-40 is a great product! Just do a search for the list of uses for WD-40 and you'll be amazed. Only a list of what Chuck Norris can do can top that.

And this is now my favorite WD-40. I probably have bought 5 or more cans in different sizes in the past; all of them got lost before I finished them. For occasional users, this is the perfect size. It has a felt tip that releases a drop every time you push the pen down. No mess! In the past, I used the spray cans and it goes all over the place. This is a very convenient way of dispensing the content. It even has a stripe of transparent window so you can see how much is left - clever idea.

For larger areas of application, you should stick with the spray cans.

I purchased the WD-40 pen for a very specific reason: to remove carbon fouling from gun-mounted flashlight lenses. If you have a flashlight mounted, especially on a pistol where the flashlight lens is close to the end of the barrel, the exhaust gas produced on each shot can foul the flashlight lens and be difficult to remove. This stuff cuts through it very effectively, and then I follow that up a Zeiss Lens Cloths Wipe: Zeiss Pre-Moistened Lens Cloths Wipes 400 Ct (2 Pack). Hope this helps!

I bought this item because my room had a creaky door that was getting on my nerves. I did not want to spend over 5 dollars to get a can of lubricant oil because I knew I would use it once and it did not want the spray to go everywhere and the smell that follows after. I came across this inexpensive item that lubricated the door's hinges and fixed the creaky problem with no smells. It was around 2 dollars and fifty cent so it was an inexpensive item that was efficient at what it did.

The product arrived at my door in less than 36 hours. This is a nice, handy product. I tried it and works as advertised.
