I ordered 10 of these sets. They are just perfect for elementary school chess club. The pieces are a little lighter than I would like, but the kids don't care at all. One set was missing several pieces. I contacted the company directly and had the replacement pieces in time for the next meeting. I plan on purchasing more of the same as our club grows.

I bought this set for my boys ages 9,7 and 5. It is great! The mat is a great size and the pieces are non-breakable! Great for kids! It comes in a tube that is easy to store and is easy for the kids to pack away!

As the title says, don't be fooled by the cheap price compared to the the other boards. I bought this board and a wooden board for some kids. The wooden board cost twice as much, but they loved this as soon as I took it out the box. Nice sturdy pieces and all of them were in there. The mat is made well. I will probably buy more of these. Plus the tube that is included helps with putting everything in one storage.

I'm not a very good chess player, only a beginner, but I keep this set in my car and will play with friends whenever we stop at a fast food place are wherever we find a table big enough to play on. My next purchase shall be a tote bad, since that tube isn't exactly designed for some one my size.

My son want a chess set that can take along to school, trip or overnight to friend's home. This is a great one to take along. It have a roll up base and good size chess. The only one thing that my son did not like was the carry tube lid does not stay close, always pop open and everything fell out.

Very light, but usable. The pieces are light, so you can't really leave the party standing on a table - it will be knocked by any strong wind, vibration, or wild child. But it is definitely playable, and the board (the rubber sheet) is smooth enough, so don't worry about that, in case you do worry.

Honesty, how does one not get arrested getting these type of deals? I use it all the time and my friends continue to ask me where I got it from.

I'm very happy with this purchase. It came exactly as expected, and is a great value. I love to play chess, and was interested in finding a little more classy version of a portable chess set that I couldn't easily damage, and that I could use on the beach.

Great product for the price. I would definitely choose it again. The pieces are a good size, and the board's spaces are roomy. The plastic pieces can be easy to knock over, and that is my only real complaint. I like how easy to take out and put away the game is - rolling it up is a good alternative to trying to stuff chess pieces into a box that only ever fit one very precise way.

Really liked when I received this chess set.Didnot play chess nearly for 10 years.Wanted to start again but didnot want to spend too much.This set is of very good size.The Chessmen are strong but slightly on the lighter side weightwise.Really liked it.Money well spent.
