This is a wonderful natural product -- just in time for Old Man Winter.,
By Heather L. Parisi "Robert and Heather Parisi" (St. Augustine, FL USA) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME) I had been looking for a heavy-duty moisturizer that is non-greasy-but-effective without any petroleum by-products for the harsh winter winds. I was familiar with Weleda products through prior purchase of their Skin Food ointment. Skin Food is a very nice product, but it is not suitably occlusive. Everon Face Balm has a thicker texture, but, unlike other heavy-duty moisturizers I have tried, it is still eminently absorbable. The smell is quite a bit medicinal, but it is not unpleasant in any way and it reminds me pleasantly of something my grandmother would have used. The predominent aroma is rose (provided by essential oil) mixed with something that has an astringent quality which I cannot identify. The sweet almond oil absorbs very rapidly and the beeswax makes an effective barrier to just about anything Mother Nature can dish out. My skin feels very soft after using a small amount. This is new for me as my skin is quite dry even in the summer months. An added bonus is that my blush glides on effortlessly without grabbing like it usually does. I don't wear foundation, so this is a big help. If you are looking for a natural product that delivers moisture and protection from the elements, don't hesitate to try this product. I heartily recommend it.
