Important Information

Ingredients
Water, Aloe Vera Gel, Glycerin, Cetyl Alcohol, Rosemary Extract, Wild Cherry Fruit Extract, Chamomile Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Panthenol Pro-Vitamin B5, Trimethylsilylamodimethicone, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Polysorbate 60, Menthol, Essential Oils, PEG-60 Almond Glycerides, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Citric Acid.

Directions
Rinse hair thoroughly and completely with cool water for at least 1 minute. Cleansing Conditioner should be applied in four sections: the crown of your head, the nape/back of head, ends to the left side of your hair and ends to the right side of your hair. For hair above your shoulders, use a minimum of 24 pumps, (6 pumps per section). For hair down to your shoulders, use a minimum of 32 pumps, (8 pumps per section). For hair past your shoulders use a minimum of 40 pumps, (10 per section). For hair to your mid-back use a minimum of 48 pumps, (12 per section). Add a splash of water to help evenly distribute through the ends and massage vigorously into scalp for 2-3 minutes. Comb through with a wide-tooth comb and clip hair up for the remainder of the shower. Leave on for at least 3-5 minutes. The longer you leave it on the better for maximum results. Rinse with cool water thoroughly for 1-2 minutes by massaging your scalp and running your fingers through to the ends. While hair is soaking wet, apply 1-3 pumps of the Cleansing Conditioner as a leave-in conditioner starting from the back of the head through to the ends. For thicker/coarser hair increase amount of pumps in order to thoroughly hydrate and cleanse the scalp and ends. If you choose to rinse and repeat, use half the amount of suggested pumps for each cleansing.

It left my hair feeling kind of greasy.

I'll give the Wen products one more try but if it doesn't work for EVERYONE's hair in my household, it's not worth spending that kind of money.
Sarah
I noticed an improvement in my hair from the first time I used this product.

I have tried all three "flavors" of Wen, and while the Fig Cleansing Conditioner is my favorite scent, this particular Tea Tree Cleansing conditioner is the best for my hair and scalp type. I have an oily scalp and coarse hair that is oily at the roots and dry at the ends. I used heavy duty clarifying shampoo everyday with the hopes of obliterating the oil problem. BIG MISTAKE! This made my scalp itchy and hair dry from root to end, and at the end of the day my scalp felt covered in nasty greasiness. Now I use Wen Tea Tree everyday and my scalp feels healthy and comfortable, not dry and irritated as when I used the harsh shampoo everyday. I didn't think this was possible, but my hair seems more balanced and perfectly moisturized both at the roots and ends and my scalp does not feel greasy at the end of the day. An added bonus is that my hair looks and feels healthier and than it has ever been. I even convinced my "product-phobic" fiance to use it just once and he continues to use it without further persuasion. I will tell you now that the product smells like tea tree oil, having a "medicinal" smell. At first I didn't like the smell of tea tree but now I find it relaxing. The weird thing, however, is that once my hair is dry, there is no lingering medicinal odor. I even smelled my fiance's hair, and at the very most his hair smells lightly of sandalwood or a light, woodsy smell. Definitely a great product. I wish more people would try it.

Great results with the first use! Because this is a rather expensive product and I have been searching for a great/safe hair product for a long time, I did a lot of research and followed the instructions carefully while using this product. I intended to eliminate all the human errors and negative factors that I can control and hoped to prove to myself confidently that this will be a product that I can trust. I think I've found it. After the first use, I left my hair dry naturally. My hair feels very silky, shiny, and light. I also love the minty smell in the product - it makes the head massage especially soothing.

Here are my 2 cents to share on usage, purchase, and ingredients:

1. Extremely important to follow the instructions. Instead of reading the various sets of printout instructions, go to Chaz Dean's website and watch the instruction video for your hair type/product twice. [...] It is a lot more helpful visually and easy to remember once you're in the shower and fearing you might miss a few steps.

2. Start with more pumps - err on the plenty side and do not use less to save the product at the beginning. After you try a few times, you'll be able to find the right number of pumps to use for yourself.

3. Realistically, I don't know how many people can rinse their head/hair with cool water. I use lukewarm water and find the result just as good.

4. I looked up every single non-herbal name in the ingredients list on Skin Deep. Initially I was skeptical because there were quite a few long scary looking chemical names.

This is probably my fav "scent" of wen. The tree tea oil makes it tingle ifyou leave it on long enough. Only buy Wen from Amazon after getting RIPPED off from Gunther-whatever-his-name-is.

I have used this product for one and a half years now. It doesn't work very well for thin hair and it makes it greasy around your ears but if you use the Teatree oil kind then you don't get as greasy. Before using this product I had semi-curly hair now that I'm using this, it's allowed my hair to be completely curly and I love it! I no longer use a blow dryer or any styling products. On occasion I need to use a clarifying shampoo to get the buildup off, but that is only once every two months.

i was happy and amazed the very first time i used WEN. my hair hasn't been this soft and shiny since i was a little girl. first, i want to say to all my Sisters of Color...if you have relaxed or natural hair, do not be afraid to try this product! my hair is thick and can be very dry and coarse - WEN Tea Tree has TRANSFORMED my hair (not kidding!) i cleanse my hair once a week with the Tea Tree, but now that it's so healthy, moisturized and manageable, i'm also able to use the Sweet Almond Mint. it's fun to change up now and then, just for a sweeter scent. and when i go to the salon for a cut or color, i will only allow my stylist to use WEN when "shampooing" my hair.
i have never raved about a hair care product, but this is PERFECT for my hair. for those people who were disappointed or felt like it wasn't cleaning well enough, i would like to suggest maybe using your favorite shampoo first then conditioning with WEN.....my friend has the oily scalp issue and this solution seemed to well work for her.

This product has saved my hair! I take a long list of medications due to being in an accident. I have not been able to grow my bangs or the top layer of my hair past two inches since taking the medications. My hair would split and break off, especially at the top where I styled it. I had been trying all products I could get my hands on and it would get better, then would break off again out of nowhere. I have been using Wen since April and I am so excited about the growth I've seen. And to see how healthy my hair is again. I have actually had to have my bangs cut twice because they were in my eyes.

For those who read the bad reviews about it drying out your hair, here's the truth. My hair is not dry or brittle at all, but Wen does make it more flyaway ( so it has the appearance of being dry). It is the only thing I think was misrepresented in the infomercial. You do need to use styling products in your hair. I now use the th moisture spray and styling cream and the must is the balm. You need to use that if nothing else ( not too much though). Just put a little bit on both palms and run your fingers thru your hair. I have also used non-Wen styling products that I had in my cupboard as well. Whatever you have to tame the fly always is good.. By the whole kit it's worth it. By the way, I am a real person and I hope this review helps one person with a hair breakage problem from medications. Good luck!
