I'd give this FIVE stars. The quality of the product is excellent. Everything is true in the product description. NICE! I wash my hair every other day with this Wen Product, advised by my hairstylist. I use different combined non-sodium lauryl/laureth sulfare shampoo/condition every other day. This does me wonderful, even it saves my money in a sense. The reason is that I have troubles following the instruction on cleaning condition, it says pump more than 12 or 16 for a short hair, more pumps for medium, MORE MORE pumps for long hairs. The fact, I pump 10 or 12 less for short hair, it is sufficient and a nice result for me. Now, my logic comes in, the instruction makes you pumping quickly, the result is that the product makes you to buy more cleansing conditioners instantly. I ran by numbers, I have to buy two cleansing conditioners for a month. So, Two conditioners per month = total of 24 items, multiply by 12 months. The total of prices for the whole year is ridiculously outrageous OFF the chart for my budget. This concluded my logic view and resulted to break down my shampooing plan - I wash my hair with Wen products every other day. I use different non-sodium lauryl/laureth sulfare shampoo. This works for me, it slows down my usage - One Wen product per month. I am happy with the quality of the product. I am not impressed with their "marketing" strategic to make clients to buy more. That's why I give this THREE stars.

I use the Lavender cleansing conditioner for cleaning and both the cleansing conditioner and the oil as a leave in (along with a little Frizz-Ease, which works with the Wen, but doesn't handle frizz for me by itself). My hair is soft, shiny and has very little frizz. If it does frizz up during the day, it lays flat again when brushed. I've been using Wen for about a year now and my hair continues to improve. The last time I saw my hair stylist, she commented that my hair seemed healthy, which I haven't heard in a decade.

I also use less of the cleansing conditioner than recommended on my short hair, but I always ensure the entire scalp is covered.

The last month or two I have also been massaging the Wen Tea Tree oil into my scalp (like 2-1/2 droppers) the night before washing (twice a week) and that resulted in an immediate improvement in shine and softness.

My hair has always been an issue for me and since the grey hairs started coming in with their grizzled texture it had become a nightmare - until I started using Wen products. I have dyed mostly fine 40%+ grey hair which has a strong natural wave and the grey hairs coming in are frizzy and each one wants to curl its own way.

I am a new curly convert and chose this line to set foot in the door. I have lots of fine, very dry and frizzy, type 3b hair and have been using this every 3-4 days for the last month. I am 3/4 through the liter bottle of matching cleansing conditioner and NEVER gotten 5* worthy hair. Some days worse than others but consistently frizzy and generally stringy. Some products individually are better than others but each only worth 3* AT BEST!

Best results yielded when used as advised on [...]'s cleansing conditioner product page and paired with a cone-free gel but still unimpressive. Decent leave-in from that combo but not the best. Cleansing conditioner has great slip for detangling once you've used enough but that is A LOT less than stated by Dean. For my hair type and length he recommends 32-40 pumps OR MORE but I've gotten best resuslts when using 20 pumps as advised on the [...] cleansing conditioner product page.

Styling creme is semi-decent pomade to tame flyaways on dry hair or good/decent to pair with oil on 2nd/3rd day hair for manageability but oil sometimes better on its own for this but again still unimpresive, must be better out there; acceptable if nothing else is available in that regard. Saw no difference when oil used O/N for scalp and roots.

Re-moist Hydrating Mask delivers acceptable softness when paired with a cap and lo heat for 30 mins. I even tried mixing with water in a spray bottle to revive 2nd/3rd day curls but results form initial co-wash are so frizzy and stringy even that is hard to achieve, though when used in this manner after oil and styling creme might get semi-decent results. Lasts only as long as cleansing conditioner or little more.

I find the line TOO expensive for the results obtained but if it works for you, you'll probably want to slowly reduce the pumps of the cleansing conditioner to see how much is enough for you. You can start with Dean's minimum and reduce two pumps per section until you've reached the perfect amount. Cleansing conditioner and Re-moist Hydrating Mask do not last long enough or work well enough to numb the $$ blow but the oil and styling creme are slightly better in both aspects. MIGHT give line another chance paired with other tested/true styling products in distant future but DOUBTFUL!!
