I find this drive to be quiet and reliable, and it runs cool. It has (in my opinion) one drawback. The power connector does not attach securely. The connector is a mini-DIN 4-pin, whose metal barrel is about 3/8 inch long. That is just not enough to anchor it in the socket. If I move the drive or jiggle the power cord, the connector often pops out. Except for this, I'd give it 5 stars.
