My 3and half year old daughter just loves this one! And I have to admit that I really like it too. In fact, it's one of the only children's CD's that I can listen to all the way through. Not only are the songs educational and interesting, they are also very creative and fun. A HUGE plus for this cd is the fact that many of the songs are completely different genres, from pop to rock to country to Calypso-Island as well as a song or 2 that have lyrics in Spanish and English and most songs include children of all ages singing or talking about whatever topic the song covers. The song "My Roots GO DOwn" is a beautiful acapella song sung by a group of children that has a very "Roots" sound to it. The more we listen to this one, the more songs we discover. My daughter and I can often be heard going about our daily activities while singing "Same As Can Be", "Muffin Spelled Backwards", "Father Goose Walk", "Little Duckie Duddle"... Gee there's just too many to list!

It's too bad that Amazon doesn't have music samples available for this CD. You may want to check you local library for a copy to preview. That's where we discovered it. I think one of the best ways to describe this one is that it's similar to the "Schoolhouse ROck" stuff... just updated for the new generation.

If you like a variety of musical styles and creative, fun and educational lyrics, this one is for you... er, I mean your kids!
