This book by veteran journalist Beverly Mahone tells it like it 'tis! It's funny, inspirational and reflective of a woman whose life has seen many ups and downs, but has gracefully weathered thru them all. A must read for those of us "of a certain age!" AND, for the men who love us too! ;-)
An enjoyable, educational and entertaining book.

For me there was too much scripture and religious talk. I wasn't expecting that. Just didn't seem like there was much to the story. Very small book.

As a member of the opposite sex, this book helped me understand the changes I'm seeing my wife go through. It was straight-forward and candid and actually enjoyable to read. This book is a must for any man who is having to deal with hot flashes and night sweats and mood swings. The book puts it all into perspective.

Filled with plenty of laughs, heart felt advice and spiritual insights to help us cope with the new challenges that await us during the middle years..and beyond.

Beverly Mahone is gifted at making you chuckle at yourself while at the same time reminding you to reflect on your uniqueness and beauty as you move forward towards your God-given destiny.

No matter what age you are--Mahone reminds us in WHATEVER! that with faith, laughter and hope, we'll make it through and have the best second act imaginable.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book - twice. Ms. Mahone uses wit and humor to address the issues that many of us boomers face. I didn't necessarily "learn" anything from it, but it is always nice to read about shared experiences, especially when you can nod your head and get a good chuckle out of it.

Beverly Mahone speaks about her life as an emerging baby boomer - reading the book is almost like being in the same room with her! She jokes about hot flashes, worries about her daughter, and shares her story of new-found love. A good read, the book also offers readers tips that helped Beverly get through some of the transitions in her life. Enjoy!

It's like someone read my mind and put my thoughts into words. Just when I thought I was the only one experiencing these new, foreign, sometimes scary and downright obtrusive feelings, Beverly let me know that I am not alone. I laughed out loud while sighing with the relief. Then I let my mom read it and she laughed out loud, too. This is a must read for baby boomers traversing the trail to middle age.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and finished it in 3 hours. I just couldn't put it down. I laughed the whole way through and was able to relate to a lot of what Beverly shared. I think that regardless of our race or backgrounds, this book is something we can all relate to because the experiences are human experiences and sometimes it helps to laugh to keep from crying. This is a real book that all baby boomers should own. Great job, Beverly!! I can't wait for the next installment.

With each chapter I had to pulse and give thanks because I could so relate to Beverly's journey!

It was Beverly's story but with each turn of the page I saw myself and knew I wasn't alone in the changes that mother nature blesses us women with and to my surprise I received confirmation that 'Men' also go through the change of life too and it has a name 'Andropause'

Like many have said before this book is a page turner and I can't wait to recommend it at my next book club meeting!
