My mom's '95 VW Jetta III has seen a few miles (239K and counting!). Finding parts for it can sometimes be an adventure. Thankfully, with this shift boot, it was a few clicks and delivered. The boot itself is a well-made, full leather boot. Even through there were no instructions to be found in the packaging of this new boot, removal of the old boot and installation of this new one took perhaps 5 minutes including clean-up. The only thought I have to share is that one might want a blunt tool to help push the bottom fringe of their new boot under the retainer that's molded into the plastic console where the shifter protrudes up through the bottom of the car into the passenger compartment.
