This song isn't exactly wack, and it gets mad airplay, but when you listen to the lyrics, you have to admit the song isn't saying much. The verses aren't much more than ten seconds long, and the chorus just says "Why don't we, why don't we, why don't we fall in love" (by the way, Amerie needs better background singers). Another concern I have is the 1990-flavored remix featuring Ludacris. What I mean by that is that there is no change to the song's music whatsoever, and Luda only shows up at the very beginning of the song and again right before the last chorus. Other than all that, the song is still listenable.

CUTE,FEEL-GOOD SUMMER TRACK,
This review is from: WHY DON'T WE FALLIN LOVE (Audio CD)
I haven't listened to the radio at all in months but I did happen to catch the video for this drop dead beautiful young lady's single on television recently.Well her name is Amerie Rodgers and the single is called "Why Can't We Fall In Love".Produced by Rich Harrison,"Why" is a feel-good,catchy,pop-R&B summer ditty made for those sunny afternoons on the afternoon.Like Tatyana Ali or even Toya,Amerie seems to be a pretty young thing with a breezy,radio-ready type of voice.Lightweight pop-R&B never sounded this refreshing.
