5.0 out of 5 stars These headphones are great!!
This is one of the best ipod accessory purchases I've made. The sound quality is better than my ibuds that came with the ipod, and I love not having a wire connecting me to my ipod. This is one of the best ipod accessory purchases I've made. The sound quality is better than my ibuds that came with the ipod, and I love not having a wire connecting me to my ipod. The initial pairing to my ipod and palm treo 800 was very easy and it works well for the most part. The only fault I have noticed is the transitioning after completing a call the headset sometimes doesn't transition back to the ipod without me unplugging and replugging the transceiver back into the ipod. This doesn't happen all the time, but I have noticed this happen more than once and I've own this headset for only about a week-I'm not sure if this is the headset or if it is my dumb phone, probably the phone as I have had numerous problems with the treo 800w. The headphones are very comfortable and the remote on the headset works great. You can pause, play, search, skip all from the headset- no problems with that. The range on the headset is about 15 feet depending on where you're at and the amount of interference in the area. The battery life is something that I haven't tested, but the manual suggests that it is 16 hours, but I highly doubt that. Everyone will have you believe that their product runs for double what it is capable of-the people at apple would like you to believe their ipods video will play for 6 hours, but in actuality it will run 3 1/2 to 4 hours on a full charge. But, overall the headset is great. I'm trying to figure out if I can pair it to my computer, so I can talk on skype. I'll have to tinker with it some more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wireless headphones with tight control integeration for iPods, November 26, 2006
This review is from: WI-GEAR MB210B-01 IMUFFS(R) WIRELESS HEADPHONES FOR IPOD(R) (BLACK) (Electronics)
These wireless headphones are the best! The sound quality is just amazing and can't say how awesome the experience of not having the cords are. You also have full control over the iPod so you don't always have to reach over to simply pause or change a track. btw- I bought mine directly through the company's website and got free shipping too!

4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice headphones, February 18, 2007

My wife gave me these for my b-day last week as she knows I love my iPod Nano. I've been using a mid-grade pair of in the ear type earbuds. I liked those as the sound is good and the foam plugs block out a lot noise. Since I use them when outside doing yard work (mowing, trimming) that is a plus. Since it's winter here now I don't know how well the iMuffs will work when I'm mowing and such. But even if I switch back to the foam earphones when mowing, there are many reasons I like the iMuffs for the other times.

-Being cordless is great. I've had the foam plugs pulled from my ears too many times and that isn't pleasant. I even run the cord inside my shirt, but it still would seem to get caught on things.

-Works great to control the iPod. No more digging in my pocket to skip, pause, adj volume, etc.

-Works well with my Razr. Although like someone else said, I have to tell my phone to search for the iMuffs, it isn't automatic. But that will be a very nice feature this summer when I'm out in the yard and my wife calls me. I always have my iPod playing and don't always feel the phone vibrate.

-Comfortable and lightweight. As others have said, it isn't adjustable but should work for most people I would think. It feels like it will stay put even for physical activities.

-Sound is very good. I don't have any buzzing or interference type noises. I would say the sound is inline with my $100 earbuds.

Negatives:

-Price. Not cheap, but these are more than just earphones.

-Bluetooth adapter will drain the battery faster. I'm also not sure how long the headphones will last on one charge.

Overall, these are very nice. I would like to give it 4.5 stars. I'm not giving it 5 because of the price and I don't think it will block external noise as well as my foam earbuds.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Bluetooth iPod headphones, January 12, 2007
This review is from: WI-GEAR MB210B-01 IMUFFS(R) WIRELESS HEADPHONES FOR IPOD(R) (BLACK) (Electronics)
I've been using these for the last week and all I can say is- WOW!

It's amazing to not have a cable connected to your iPod! Sound quality is excellent!

I've used them:

1. With my iPod nano- with great success

2. With my Macbook using iChat, Skype, and even listening to iTunes (although it's only mono instead of stereo when connected to my Mac)

3. With my Bluetooth Nextell cellphone as a bluetooth headset.

5.0 out of 5 stars This are a very neat iPod must have item, November 19, 2006
This review is from: WI-GEAR MB210B-01 IMUFFS(R) WIRELESS HEADPHONES FOR IPOD(R) (BLACK) (Electronics)
They are pricey but well worth it. I think they are very comfortable and functional. Because of the behind the head design, they are comfortable in bed or working out. The design is such that they lodge over the top of the ear and add great stabilitly if you are moving around or exercising. I have had no problems with the iMuffs and the ipod being separated over 30 feet. I have an ipod video and like the fact that it connects to the bottom port and not the top. Sound quality is awesome and controls on the right earpiece work very well. Best part is no cords or wires, Bluetooth rules and this product has version 2.0, not 1.2. I am looking to purchase a Motorola Q phone and am pleased to hear it works well with my iMuffs. Great purchase if you can afford it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Service - Great Product, June 14, 2006
This review is from: WI-GEAR MB210B-01 IMUFFS(R) WIRELESS HEADPHONES FOR IPOD(R) (BLACK) (Electronics)
I originally ordered the IMuffs MB200 and when I received it I called Wi-Gear to make sure it would work with my son's video iPod. It wouldn't but the MB210 would. They were extremely helpful, had me return the MB200 to them and then they shipped the MB210 to me. I read the short manual, charged the headphones, and they worked!! Can't say enough about how nice, helpful, and knowledgeable the Wi-Gear people are! Couldn't believe the iMuffs worked right away with no issues, after reading some of the other reviews on the MB200, but these work flawlessly.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is fine Technology, October 1, 2006
This review is from: WI-GEAR MB210B-01 IMUFFS(R) WIRELESS HEADPHONES FOR IPOD(R) (BLACK) (Electronics)
You have to try these headphones. They work exactly as advertised (MB210b). Except the user manual says to turn your bluetooth phone on first in discover mode and then turn on your iMuffs on. Well that didn't work on my RAZR phone. I had to turn on the iMuffs first and then have my phone search for it.

The sound of music is very good. For best results I have my iPod (60GB video) on at one-third volume and then adjust the iMuffs to the desired volume.

These things are amazing and I wouldn't be surprised if in the future, Apple may sell new versions of iPod with wireless headphones. It just seems so logical.

Now that I have these I can't imagine owning an IPOD without them. Easy to install, plug-and-play. Sound quality is great and no more wires. My biggest use for my IPOD is when I workout on the treadmill. The cord from the headphones would always be in the way and I would end up pulling the ear pieces out several times during the workout. They fit snug, no moving or shifting during the exercise. And when my phone rings the music pauses and I can answer the phone using the headset, what an awesome feature. This product is well worth the price.

This product is an overall good product and the sound quality is GREAT. HOWEVER, the IMUFF Bluetooth adaptor that you connect directly to the bottom docking port on your IPOD, CONSTANLTY falls off. It IS DEFINITELY NOT SAFE to use this product with the IMUFF bluetooth connector attached to your IPOD WHEN WALKING AROUND. If you put this on your IPOD and then attach your IPOD to your belt either thru your belt, or on your belt, The adaptor WILL DEFINITELY FALL OFF. This is a MAJOR FLAW that IMUFF should FIX. SO unless you intend to use these IMUFF's for ONLY listening to music in a setting where there is no or virtualy no impact put on the ipod then it should be GREAT FOR YOU, HOWEVER, if you intend on using this to walk around with, or engage in any activity that puts any impact on your IPOD then STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT because your bluetooth adaptor will DEFINITELY FALL OFF, the connection it makes is FINE for sitting in a car, lying by the pool, lying on your bed, sitting in a chair, but other than that it is NOT secure enough. It does click ONTO the IPOD dock, but it will just as easily fall off that dock if you put any pressure on the IPOD, when walking I had to pick it up numerous times, I was JUST LUCKY I didn't end up losing it. Which I would have done had I been in an environment where there had been a lot of poeple around.
