4.0 out of 5 stars Decent Nancy Drew...not at her best, May 2, 2009
This review is from: WICKED FOR THE WEEKEND THE NANCY DREW FILES 123 (Paperback)
I am a lover of the original Nancy Drew series, but every so often I pick up one of the modern series. Last night I stayed up and hour to finish this book...you can't really put down a Nancy Drew mystery at the end of each chapter. ;) When I finished, I realized that the plot wasn't as exciting or intriguing as the original series books' are. Still, as far as mysteries go, it was good. I knew who the killer was by the middle of the book, though. If you want a quick, light read, pick this one up.
My favorite part was the Nancy/Ned relationship. They have a sweet, innocent, beautiful relationship in this book. Not too passionate, but romantic enough to make you smile.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Wicked For The Weekend ", the Nancy Drew Files #123, May 4, 2006
This review is from: WICKED FOR THE WEEKEND THE NANCY DREW FILES 123 (Paperback)
This book was very good. I like all of the Nancy Drew books. However I paid more money for this book than I usually would because of a review that someone had written on this book. The review said this was the last book in this series but that is not true. I know now that there is at least one more book, titled "Crime at the Ch@t Cafe", #124. I think people should make sure of there facts before writing a review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Farewell sweet Ned !!!, November 2, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: WICKED FOR THE WEEKEND THE NANCY DREW FILES 123 (Paperback)
This is the last of the Files books (and the Nancy Drew books of any description) where Ned makes a difference in nancy's life. They go away for the weekend on a Fraternity Mystery Weekend, and have to unravel the mystery before the weekend is over. Anyway, just a little bit sentimental, as the books in the "On Campus" series took such a sleezy turn after 60 years :(
