Very amusing. May 24, 2010

This is a quick, light read that I finished in a couple of days, but that doesn't take away from how good the content was. "William Walker" is a hilarious book, with a great twist at the end that I loved (but won't ruin for you). Thoroughly recommended for both men and women.

Marriage is all about trust and what with William Walker's psycho ex-girlfriend and his wife Isabel's best male friend Alex (who has a hidden agenda) there's not a lot of it to go around in this piece of British lad lit. This is an entertaining holiday read, with unusually descriptive chapter headings and hilarious wedding ratings. You won't have to turn your brain on, but you will enjoy it.

I will admit that it took a little bit before I really got into this book but then it just caught me and I couldn't put it down. William's antics really had me laughing out loud in many places. It's not very often that you can read this type of book from the man's point of view. It was very funny to see William and his two male friend's thought process when they needed to try to help him in one of his many crazy situations in which he finds himself.

I was going to start begging on this review for a follow-up book but just realized that there already is one, William's Progress Story.

All in all a great book that will keep you laughing... and will let you in on what men really talk about when they go to the pub! :)
