5.0 out of 5 stars A Runners Life Saver
I have tried different "sports soaps" and keep coming back to this one. I'm not going to try any others. I use this soap for all of my running gear, my husband's and kid's swimming gear and even my nice, washable work clothes. It removes the odors (sweat, chlorine, and school related) on everything without damaging, fading, or affecting any of our clothes. I do not...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good soap, bad bottles
I'm happy with this detergent. I use it with cold water and the delicate washing cycle on all my running & biking cloths, throwing in any other tech-fabric shirts, terry towels, etc that happen to be laying around. Seems to work well. However, I will likely not re-order since the box arrived wet and sticky with 3 of the 12 bottles having cracked, leaky tops. Altogether I...

4.0 out of 5 stars Actually, not bad, I like this and SportSuds, both are unscented, June 7, 2010

Check my other reviews for these types of detergents. I have tried several (Win, Win Free, Scuds, and Penguin) and decided give a brief review of all at the same time.

I find the Win Green Dye Free works well, just a tad beneath the regular Win detergent.

I would recommend this and also SportSuds, if you want something that is scent free. If you don't mind a scent, I would say try the Win in the blue bottle first.

I do not notice any scent left by the detergent.

There is a risk with shipping of these. I find both the Win (blue) and the Win Green Dye Free sometimes will leak a little, leaving the buyer to have to rinse the detergent on the outside off of the bottles.

I would recommend those looking to try these odor removing detergents to try out (in order of preference), Win in the Blue bottle, Win Green Dye Free and SportSuds, tying for 2nd place.

Altogether I only got cheated out of maybe 4 oz of detergent, not enough to worry about I suppose, but who needs the mess?

5.0 out of 5 stars No more stinky boys' uniforms!, July 27, 2010

What a great find this detergent was! I've struggled with washing my sons' baseball uniforms and their wicking under garments. With most detergents the smell lingers. Not so with WIN! This stuff takes care of the horrible odors. I prefer the fragrance free variety, but the scented one doesn't have a heavy scent. They both do a great job getting the uniforms clean and keeping them smelling fresh.

Loved this stuff and now you're gone! Why?! You made my stinky running clothes stink-free! I love that you were fragrance free because I did not like your detergent with the fragrance. Hard to run with that perfumey smell. Please come back.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great, April 17, 2011

We first bought this detergent when our son was wrestling. Argueably the most sweat producing sport there is and knowing high school boys they do not always remember to bring home the practice clothes every day so they get a little "ripe". This detergent is what you need to get the smell out of the clothes. Works Great.

I bought this because I read a review from the USA Olympic team that this stuff really works. I wanted a powerful environmentally friendly product that would remove embeddded sweat smells from workout clothes. Doesn't seem to work too well but I'll keep using it and see if it improves over time. Perhaps I waited too long to start using it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Fragrance Free, Not as good as Penguin Wash, September 16, 2010
This review is from: WIN Green Dye Free, Fragrance Free Sport Detergent, 21-Ounce Bottle, (Pack of 8) (Health and Beauty)
Both my husband and I use our performance gear daily. We noticed the stinky problem and was told about Penguin Wash. Used it and liked it. When we ran out of Penguin we purchased WIN Green at a retail store instead of paying for shipping. Not a good decision. Not only is WIN not fragrance free, it doesn't do the job. My husbands bike gear is immediately stinky upon return from a workout. With Penguin we would only have to do a special Penguin load every three wearings or so. I will not purchase WIN again.

Works well on smelly running clothes. Seems to remove sweat and "stinky sock" odors. Absence of fragrance a plus!
