Satellite Finder works great!
The Winegard SF 1000 Satellite Finder allows you to find the satellite in seconds. When you find the signal, an audable alarm sounds instantaneously. Before getting the finder, the satellite reciever would take several seconds to respond and when you pass thru the signal, there was no indication. This device saves a lot of frustration.

Not what I ordered
The satellite finder was supposed to be made by Winegard, it doesn't show any kind of brand and didn't come with the cables as shown. I could have bought the same thing cheaper from other vendors, I didn't because I wanted brand name. I'll contact customer service and we'll see what happens.

This unit performed as advertised, however in Alaska the signal meter does not work, but the sound unit will allow peaking your dish very well. Recommend using this unit, as it took me less than 5 minutes to find and peak the satellite and acquire a signal.
