This tripod did an excellent job of supporting my dish. I originally planned for it to be a very temporary solution (2-4 weeks) when we moved to a new home. In the end, I wasn't able to get a permanent mount set up for my dish for 8 months (other priorities). It held up well through wind, rain and storms. Excellent, solid built product.

This tripod is not stable at all in any breeze or wind, regardless of how the center is anchored. Easy enough to set up, but fails in the stability department. Wound up selling at a flea market. Would not purchase again.

I ordered this tripod for a temporary mounting solution for my DirecTV dish at a condo. It looked like a sturdy mount and would suit me well sitting on the corner of the patio. I got it, and was puzzled at the small box. It's TINY. Super small. Reducto small. I have an oval 5lnb capable dish and it would have toppled over at the slightest breeze with this thing. I put it together and when I realized "that's it???" (did I say tiny? not to mention cheap thin tubing legs...) it quickly went back in the box and now I'll lose shipping $$$.

This is absolutely NOT worth $50. For $17 at the local home improvement store I got a bucket, 80lbs of concrete and a fence pole that was tall enough and a sturdier mount.

Incredibly disappointed.

This product is as advertised, easy to set up, and very good quality. The price is very good compared to other similar tripods.

This is meant for a temporary set up not long term. I use this camping and tailgating and it works great!

The pipe that extends upward to mount the dish on is too small. The diameter is off by a lot. Debating on wrapping with duct tape or just returning. Amazon even suggested buying them together with the Eagle Aspen Dish. Big mistake

The item came in earlier than expected. It went together well only draw back is the funky compose that comes with it. Haven't really used it yet, but did test it out and did fine.
