5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Fantastic!, October 13, 2005
This review is from: WINGS (2005) (Audio CD)
This new record is just fantastic! I'm glad I bought
it and that I didn't pay too much attention to some of
the reviews below! (???) This woman sure knows what
she's doing and she sure ain't done with rocking our
lives just yet. Bonnie Tyler does not only look
terrifically good next to her young new musicians (cf
the new song "Louise" video: www.stickmusic.fr) she
also still sound amazing in 2005. I particularly like
the songs "Driving me crazy" (and listening to it in
my car on a night out!), "All I need is Love",
"Celebrate" & "Run Run Run" (great party song), but
also the ballads "Crying in Berlin" and "Hold out your
Heart" featuring her trade mark voice.
The new versions of the classics "It's a heartache"
and "Total Eclipse Of the Heart" are simply great for
the "real" Bonnie fans (and everybody else) as the
great production really gives a fresher approach to
them. Thank you very much Mrs Tyler!

5.0 out of 5 stars rock'n ballads, October 1, 2005
This review is from: WINGS (2005) (Audio CD)
this is an old school rock album with rocking songs and good ballads. If you like the 70'and 80'you're right here. Louise is a cool song you should here it loud, the same with run, run, run and driving me crazy. Streets of stone and all I need is love are the ballads I prefer. If you have the chance to see Bonnie live: do it. She is so great on stage. Be sure: you will never hear such an outrages voice from anyone else. I hope there will be soon a live dvd with her complete clips.

5.0 out of 5 stars Banging Album!, November 14, 2005
This review is from: WINGS (2005) (Audio CD)
I think it's very fair to say that the older this woman gets the better she becomes. And this album just goes to prove it. Don't be misled by those negative reviews because this album rocks. And the voice is better than ever! 'Stand Up, Louise, I Won't Look Back' are stand out tracks. And 'All I Need Is Love' is to die for. You simply must buy this album and turn it up loud! The 2 cover versions are not so good and quite pointless. But on the whole it's great. But no doupt it will just join her ever increasing list of underated albums. Still never mind. Go Bonnie!!!!!!
