I have seen Mr. Wise speak on a couple of occasions. He is a very engaging speaker and always captivates his audience. I was pleased to see that his book is every bit as entertaining as his live sessions.

There is a lot of very helpful information in this book for anyone thinking about starting a business or trying to raise money for the business they have started. What makes this book special in the vast world of business books is that it also a lot of fun to read.

I loved it.

As a student of entrepreneurship, I read the material that's out there. And much of it, sadly, is written by observers, who have never met a payroll, searched for greatness in their sales pitches and hired and fired endlessly in search of great people. Sean Wise has been on the battlefield, has had his back to the wall, and has achieved much in the field of entrepreneurship and venture capital. His losses, he has learned from. His wins have given him the leisure to write.

And Sean Wise writes well. His style is crispness; his message is to the point. There is no philosophizing or hypothesizing. His information is from that great battlefield known as "disrupt and solve pain."
