This was a well written follow up to book 1 in the series. I enjoyed book 1 so much I had to read this one as well. The writer did a great job of keeping you guessing until the end. I like the wittyness of the characters.

I have read andI loved the first two books in this series. My only problem with this second one is that while the time line between the two is only suppose to be about a year, the way they talk about all the changes and how everthing is so different since Det. Marcella retired I thought there must have been about ten years or more between the two cases. I actually looked on line for the order of the books thinking this was a much later one. Once I put that aside I really enjoyed it.

I have to agree with Mardorwe in that the terrible grammar and spelling makes it hard to really get spell-bound. At times, I thought that the person who prepared the book for electronic form didn't speak English as a first language. And that exempts Leona, who did in fact speak fractured English. Otherwise, I found it to be light reading and I did enjoy it.

The book seemed like a typical murder mystery, however the smidgen of the occult that was added provided enough spice to lift it above the average murder mystery.

I particularly enjoyed the main protagonist being an articulate, dynamic retired person. It's always nice to see that retired people can still be seen as a viable and able to impact events.

This is the second book in a series. It was a good read as a stand alone but I suspect it would've been a better read if I have read the first book in the series.

The mystery plot was solid and enjoyable. There were enough twists and turns to maintain your interest. The characters were intricate and well portrayed. The touch of the occult was lightly done but it did spice up the story.

I enjoyed the book and I recommend it.

This was not a book I would have normally read, but Loved it and will purchase the other books he has out for the Kindle.

this book is well written. there is some grammer errors but not enough to make a difference. every time you think you figure who it was things change. a very good read.

WARNING! The author is using the oldest trick in the book: " c'mon, try it. Everybody else likes it. First one's freeeeee."

Eye of the Witch is a solid whodunnit.

There are a lot of people killing themselves lately. And they all have some connection to a paranormal abilities research study...

The story develops around an investigator who is a good bit older than most of the other people in the book. Interestingly, he is willing to consider new ideas not because he is a dewy eyed romantic, but rather because he has been around the block and seen a lot of crazy @#$! go down. This makes for an interesting protagonist.

You will not guess who the killer is until the very end, even though the author lays out plenty of clues along the way.

That, together with the obvious research in and respect for modern day 'witches', added a great deal to my enjoyment of the story.

But, be warned. You WILL go back and buy the first book in the series. :)

I'm about a quarter of a way through the kindle edition, and although I like the story, it could have used better proof-reading. Misplaced commas, quote marks, things like that. Also, the dialogue sometimes sounds stilted; the characters don't use contractions much. I look forward to finishing the novel, but I also want to edit it.

I have read all the books in this series, and so has my husband, We both Love this series. Please, please, please write more in this series. Such a delightful read.

This is a fun light read. There are a few spelling and grammar issues, that i think the author should take a look at.I decided to give this one a try. I found it to be and a quick, fun read. Perfect book for a Kindle story with interesting plotlines and characters.
