A must have
My daughter received this gift for her 1st birthday and was a huge success right from the start. She is now 4 1/2 and still loves to play with it. Her younger brother (18 months) loves it as well now too. It's a great learning opportunity of cause and effect both stacking the blocks and then nesting them all back. I always give this as a 1 year old gift.

A decent gift
My 16 month old son plays with these blocks occassionally. He finds placing the smaller boxes inside of the larger ones quite enjoyable. One problem is that it's easy to lose the final two boxes because of there size. Apart from that, they are quite durable.
