This review is from: WMF Loft Cocktail Shaker (Kitchen)
This cocktail shaker looks just as stunning and sleek as it does in the photos. It was a bit bigger than I'd imagined, but then again I don't know what the standard size is. I would say it's suitable for making 2-4 servings at once, rather than single servings.

One thing to note is that the plastic strainer part apparently has ugly "fold lines" as I think they call it, which are visible seams in the plastic that are unavoidable due to the manufacturing process. Specifically in this case, there are nasty lines coming out from each little hole in the strainer (which are conveniently hidden in the photos with the metal lid). At a glance it looks like you cracked the plastic by banging too much ice on it.

Another small issue I found is that if you leave the shaker unattended for no more than several minutes after pouring, the temperature difference between the metal cup and the plastic strainer make a tight seal at the rim, making it impossible to take it apart for washing/reloading. I think what's happening is that the ice-cold metal really contracts while the not-so-cold plastic strainer doesn't, so basically it won't let go until the metal is back to room temperature. So don't forget to remove the strainer immediately after straining, if you want to avoid the hassle.

Despite these two drawbacks, it is a beautiful product, typical WMF quality. Recommended.
