WMF Clever and More Foil Cutter

This foil cutter is NOT made of PLASTIC but stainless steel. After my previous foil cutter, which was made of plastic, was broken so easily, I decided to buy a new one - not made of plastic. I checked local retailers but have never found anything I was satisfied because almost all of them are made of plastic!! All the parts of this foil cutter looks stainless steel. It cuts very well and seems to hold longer than my predicessor. Also, the price is very reasonable compared to all the plastic ones in the market. Last but not least, the design is very good. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

After having my regular foil cutter snap in two accidentally by a guest, I set out to get a decently built cutter that would withstand that type of error. I was concerned that since it did not have a rolling cutter it may not cut properly, but the ones I have tried it on worked like a charm. As mentioned, it is sturdy, and sleek looking.

Very durable stainless steel construction. It's a single piece rather than the plastic ones that have rollers attached on the bottom. 4 edges work likes knives to make a perfect circular cut and you don't have to worry about it snapping when using it on bigger bottles. A little expensive regular price but I got a good deal and it's both sturdy and looks good so I'm a very happy customer.

So glad to not have to worry about plastic breaking. Not as sharp as I would have liked, but works good.

WMF Clever and More Foil CutterThis does not have cutting blades, but relies on friction. Does not work as well as a $3.00 plastic capsule cutter with blades as it does not cut smoothly but shreds the capsule. It is all metal and seems durable. Made in China.
