I'm eating grapefruit as I write this review.

There were less expensive grapefruit spoons available, but I chose this one because it looked like it would go well with my other flatware. Because I have young grandchildren, I also liked the idea of the serrated edges not being too sharp.

I'm very pleased on both the above points. Additionally, it has a nice weight, not too heavy, not too light, and fits my hand comfortably.

Love that ruby red grapefruit, and this spoon makes it easy to enjoy.

We've enjoyed grapefruit from a friend's tree for months, but a few of our ancient grapefruit spoons were missing... when I found out the grapefruit growers had NO spoons I went on a hunt! Bought 3 sets of four WMF Bistro grapefruit spoons based on feedback from previous Amazon buyers. The balance is terrific, the fine serration really works. I also use these for removing seeds from hot peppers... just slice lengthwise and scoop out seeds and membrane with one swipe... no firey fingers.

These are relatively inexpensive grapefruit spoons. The edges are not as serrated as some of the current ones that I have, so I didn't think they would be as useful. However, they work great and you don't even have to worry about cutting yourself on the edges of the spoon. They look nice and feel very well made. I'd suggest these spoons to everyone.

We've had these grapefruit spoons for about two months now, and they are a disappointment. The sides of the spoon are serrated, but the tip is not serrated or sharp so you can't dig out the grapefruit very easily - you might as well use a knife and a regular spoon. They look good and feel nice, but don't do the job well.

I am pleased with these spoons. At first I was concerned that they are serrated only on the sides and not on the tip but they work beautifully. I also like the design. They are streamlined and pretty and would be attractive with any sort of cutlery. While they are more expensive, they appear to be good quality and feel strong. Thus I would say they are worth the extra expense.

very good quality of spoons. I had one of theirs that i found at a garage sale. This four is just as good as the one. I would highly recommend this set.

I didn't think I would rave about a grapefruit spoon, but these spoons are great. The edges are rough enough to separate the grapefruit from the rind but not too rough to eat with. I would recommend these if you love to eat grapefruit but hate having to cut out each section first.

These spoons are a) nice looking and b) they allow me to eat a grapefruit without having to cut it up beforehand. Not sure what else you can say except they just work.

Not only are these spoons very functional, they are really beautiful as well: simple, elegant and perfect proportions. I didn't really want serated spoons, but couldn't find any that weren't. The serations are functional when applied to the grapefruit, but not too rough on the mouth.

The edges need to be a bit sharper for the grapefruit, still cutting the fruit apart. Otherwise nice stainless steel and will hold up.
