5.0 out of 5 stars Great product
I ordered several pieces to add to my collection of Bistro silverware. Love this flat spoon. It's quite unusual and is useful when serving casseroles as well as pies and cakes. Great product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Flimsy
Like most of the budget Bistro line the piece is made of a thin gauge steel and feels flimsy in hand. Much unlike the original Manaos line which is far thicker and substantial. Still looks nice and shiny.

Of course this spoon is stainless, not the apparently white spoon pictured, and it provides elegance to any service and occasion. Great for serving rice or dressing, allowing you to measure an entire portion with just one serving. The handle is thin, but it is extremely strong.

5.0 out of 5 stars WMF Bistro Flat Serving Spoon, January 9, 2010

For those of you, who are not familiar with WMF, WMF is a German company. The company is known for its quality and "Made in Germany" manufacturing. Unfortunately, WMF is manufacturing overseas now (majority of the products). I was a little worried about that when I purchased the entire Bistro line for twelve plus assessories. I have used the products now for about six months and I have to say that I do not notice a difference in quality (German production vs. overseas production). One thing to notice is that I wash all of my WMF products by hand. I have never put any of them in the dishwasher so I don't know how they hold up when washed in the dishwasher. I highly recommend the Bistro line by WMF.
