I was looking for a heavy,solid and shiny finish utensil set like Fissler or All-Clad. Then I found this Wmf set on Amazon.com. I've never seen any Wmf product before,but I guessed this worldwide well known German Company makes as good kitchen tools as Fissler or All-clad.

When I recieved this Wmf set,I was a little dispointed. I forgot what you pay is what you get. This set is $30 cheaper than German made Fissler. As same price,I can get 4 more gadgets than All-clad. The steel of the ladle and spatula are light and thin. They are not made of one piece steel which remind me of the Oneida. The wire caddy with 4 hooks is unique but bottom chicken wire looks will fall off anytime soon.

By the way, I suggest that you should buy a bottle of Goof Off with this purchase at the same time. I spent 15 minutes to peel off 19 stickers. Wmf should not be so shy to secure their tiny "made in china" stickers on top of cylinder handle where is under the hook loop.

Comparing with many products around $100 range in the market, I still think this Wmf set is a good deal. I like the nice ball whisk and powerful potato masher. It's fun to look four samll gadgets hanging outside of caddy. If you want a top quality set, this set may not suit for your need. I give four stars because of the special design. It looks pretty on my dark granite counter top.
