Expensive hunk of junk
on April 7, 2013
I was using a garlic press from the grocery store-one of those ones that cost a few bucks, and they last a year or two and break. I got tired of buying new ones, and sprung for this one-seemingly a well made press that would last a while. Nope. 2 months after I received it, the welds holding it together have broken. Pretty well useless at this point. I tried to contact the seller about the problem, and a month later have had no response. I don't know if there is a worthwhile 'high end' garlic press out there-I'd love to find one. But for the fifty bucks for this one, I bet it cost about two dollars a clove to press garlic.
