It's sleek and exotic, but this chrome-plated, stainless-steel-and-glass teapot brews tea the traditional way. Fill the cone-shaped, fine-mesh infuser with loose tea (1 teaspoon per cup plus 1 teaspoon for the pot) and snap it into place under the lid. Plunge the infuser into water that's just reached the boiling point (don't boil out the water's oxygen, which is crucial for full flavor). Steep to taste (two to five minutes). Lift the lid and snap the infuser out of it. Replace the lid (it seals tight with a rubber gasket), pour up to 8 cups (the pot's capacity), and relax. Afterward, lift the pot from its wire holder and put the pot, infuser, lid, and the lid's outer ring in the dishwasher. The teapot stands 6-1/4 inches high and is 6 inches in diameter. WMF makes matching Zeno tea glasses for this pot. --Fred Brack

The Zeno Teapot is the perfect gift for those who enjoy a good pot of tea. Its stainless steel wrapping does well to both conduct the heat from a flat top range to the glass teapot and provide a pleasent framework while not getting too hot to hold.

The stainless steel infuser does well to infuse all but the finest of tealeaves and makes steeping easy.

The pot pours well, and looks great.

This is an absolutely beautiful teapot, but it comes with a completely worthless instruction booklet. I wrote an email to customer service at the WMF web site, but didn't receive a reply. Grrrr!

I need to know if this is safe to use to heat the water on the stove, or if the boiling water must be heated in a separate kettle!! Can anyone who has this please write a review to include the answer to this question? I don't want to ruin it!
