Disappointed in Amazon November 13, 2008

I received the vacuum from Amazon and, when I opened the box, it was obvious that the vacuum was not "factory fresh". I could tell by the way the vacuum was packed in the box, and by the way the packing tape was applied, that the unit must have been opened,re-packaged,returned, and sold as "new" by Amazon. The vacuum itself is a little loud and some of the switches could be of a better quality, but it seems to do the job adequately.
