I have used this in my garden for three years now, and it still works just fine (ca. two sessions per month).

I have large hands, and even though this isn't the largest of tools, it gives me excellent control - and I can easily fine-tune the power I put behind a cut. The anvil really helps and - I think - makes sure you can use this one for long time. No clogging, no nothing. In case it gets stuck, a few twists do the trick.

I have just ordered two more, just in case. Couldn't be happier.

I have had no-anvil pruners. Those really disappointed me. This here's the way to go.

Have used this pruner extensively in my garden--for pruning roses as well as other plants. Have had zero problems over several years. Probably my #1 most reliable tool in my workshop. Some features I like:

♦ Like the way it holds onto the stem to make cutting easier.
♦ The "button" also works well in keeping the blades closed.
♦ Cuts well every time.
♦ Nice to have the strap.
♦ Good ergonomic fell to the handle. Fits just right.

Maintenance Tips:

(1) Be sure to wipe moisture off the blade, and occasionally lubricate. It will last a lot longer.
(2) Invest in a leather holster, and put the tool back in when you're done.

√ This product has really stood the test of time. Recommend!
