More About the Author

JUDITH SACHS BIOGRAPHY
The daughter and granddaughter of physicians, Judith Sachs was probably destined to write and speak about preventive health care. She has been publishing books and lecturing for over 25 years. Her mix of Western medical information with traditional, natural therapies that go back centuries offers her audience a well-balanced helping of therapeutic care.

She has taught stress management at the College of New Jersey and conducts workshops on stress, midlife and menopause and sexuality throughout the tri-state area. Her stress workshops have been exceptionally successful, both in the corporate setting (Johnson & Johnson, Ortho-MacNeil Pharmaceuticals, Warner-Lambert Company) and
at holistic health centers (the Omega Institute of Holistic Studies, the New York Open Center, Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires, the New Age Health Spa, and the Spa at Grand Lake). She currently serves as adjunct faculty at the Human Resource Development Institute of New Jersey, conducting stress management workshops for New Jersey State employees.

Judith has served as a product spokesperson for Intellitecs, a medical textile manufacturer, for an incontinence product; and for Proctor & Gamble's Secret deodorant. She has also represented the Ponds Clear Solutions line for
Cheseborough-Ponds and Bayer's One-A-Day Herbal Blends. She has also served as spokesperson for Urometrics's EROS-CTD, the only FDA-approved device to treat female sexual dysfunction.

Judith is an experienced media presence--she is often a guest expert on national and local radio discussing midlife, sexuality, and stress management. In addition, she has appeared on "The Today Show," "The Phil Donahue Show," "Leeza," "Jenny Jones," "Rolanda," "The Susan Powter Show," "Good Day New York," and many others.

She has been practicing the Chinese martial art, taijiquan (tai chi chuan) and qi gong breathing therapy since 1989. She is certified as a Senior Fitness Specialist and is also a Certified SilverSneakers instructor.

Some of Judith's books are 20-Minute Vacations, Break the Stress Cycle: 10 Steps to Reducing Stress for Women, Sensual Rejuvenation, Rewinding Your Biological Clock with Dr. Richard Paulson, and Getting the Sex You Want: A Woman's Guide to Becoming Proud, Passionate, and Pleased in Bed with Dr. Sandra Leiblum.

Judith is available for lectures, workshops, and seminars. Please contact her directly through her website at www.judithsachs.com.
