This is a wonderfully delightful book. If you're fifty or close to it, you know the myriad of changes we experience; mentally, physically, psychologically and emotionally. This book offers a light-hearted look at those changes and you'll find yourself laughing and rejoicing (yes, rejoicing!) in being female and *suffering* through this STUFF!

A great gift idea, it's also something that a significant other or anyone else in your world who has possibly witnessed things like mood swings, hot flashes (I prefer "power surges"), or any other of the fun things we go through, might enjoy. It would shed some light on what's going on and be entertaining at the same time!

Lighten up a little and do something for YOU! Buy this book and get a refreshing perspective on this new stage in your life! It really is true that life begins at fifty! Enjoy it!

Over fifty? Overy forty? Who doesn't need a little humor about the mid-life years? WOOF: Women Only Over Fifty is a hilarious read about the many challenges of aging gracefully. And even though the title reads "Women Only" husbands, friends, fathers, and sons of WOOFers will find this a truly fun read as well.

Just when you started to despair at the thought of seeing one more misplaced dimple or new varicose vein, along comes WOOF: Women Only Over Fifty to nuzzle you back into the game. The book, filled with playful tales of bad hair and good chocolate, best friends and worst flashes, was my constant companion on a recent vacation with some girlfriends. When the descriptions of a bad perm, mammogram and upper arm waving made me laugh out loud several times in a row, my fellow WOOFers ripped it from my hands, took turns reading it out loud, and howled.
