3.0 out of 5 stars OK - Way too small for price
I decided to try this product when I could not get the other one I wanted, as a tideover until the other was available. Decided to try based on other reviews. I didn't really see the 'miracle' effect of this product though. It is okay but not really any difference than with much cheaper over the counter Neosporin products. AND be warned that the tube is the size of the...

I purchased Wound Be gone after I got a recommedation from a close friend. I have been suffering from pressure ulcers for some time now and I was in need of relief. My painful ulcers were not healing and were only growing in size. I have tried other products in the past with no success.

Desperate for a solution, I was willing to try wound be gone. Application is easy, as the wound be gone gel forms a thin coat over the wound. I found that using q-tip was an easy way to apply the gel. I covered it with a bandage just in case. I started seeing signs of healing in a few days. My ulcer is now almost gone. This stuff is great!

Wound Be Gone was recommended to me and in turn i would definetly recommend it to anyone. I used it on my pressure ulcer and im sure it'll be just as good on just about anything else.

I had a brown recluse spider bite that was getting worse, I tried about everything. After 2 days of using this, I saw an improvement. Within 6 days, it was almost healed. If you are not aware, recluse spider bites are almost impossible to heal without surgical intervention.

I have used this product on my sons abrasions from a baseball injury. It was very painful and throbbing.. It stopped the pain right away. It did not leave a scar at all.. I used this on my fever blister which was also painful... It really took the pain away instantly...Best ointment to have in the first aid kit at home. Heals everything...

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing gel!!!!, August 30, 2011

Recently I was involved in the motorcycle accident. Half of my face was completely scratched. I've been applying Wound-Be-Gone twice a day and after 6 days my face was completely healed. When I got back to work my colleagues could believe their own eyes. It looks like I'm not even going to have any scars.

5.0 out of 5 stars I am so impressed with the results!!!, December 19, 2011
This review is from: WOUND-BE-GONE Topical Gel with Antioxidant Agent used in Hospitals (5g) (Health and Beauty)
My mom had ulcer on the bottom of her foot for approximately three years. We have tried everything, she has been going to wound clinic for almost two years (everything failed). The doctors talked about possibly of losing foot and maybe her leg in the future. I came across Wound-Be-Gone, and this was the best thing I have done. My mom foot healed in 5 weeks, which is miracle, her doctor was speechless. My family can't stop telling people about Wound-Be-Gone and what it's done for my mom. Anyhow, I am a true believer and I am recommending to everybody, anybody who has problems with diabetic foot ulcer should give it try before doctor will tell you the worst possibility like cutting off your foot or leg. Thank you so much. This is an amazing product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wound Be Gone - excellent results., November 20, 2011
This review is from: WOUND-BE-GONE Topical Gel with Antioxidant Agent used in Hospitals (5g) (Health and Beauty)
Excellent product which did all that the information said it would. Potential leg ulcers cleared up within 2 weeks before developing into a worse problem. Used by an elderly lady who has had 2 skin grafts for bad ulcers in recent past. This product has stopped the latest eruptions developing further. Thank you very much for an excellent product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Miracle Gel, October 13, 2011

I tried for a few years to get an open wound on my elderly aunt's scalp to heal. Nothing OTC or prescription worked. I was at my wits end, til I came across wound be gone. My aunt has dementia so she would aggravate the wound over & over by scratching. This is the only thing that worked for us. The scar on the scalp where the wound was is still very tender, because of all the trauma it had from scratching etc. so when she scratches I apply some WBG, and it's healed again in no time! I also use it when she gets skin tears, I just hate those, but this heals them up quickly. I agree the tube is too small it could be bigger, but you use a light layer with a Q-tip over the area. I am happy with the product, it was a miracle gel in my opinion, it closed a wound, I was giving up hope on!

1.0 out of 5 stars It did not work, smallest tube I ever saw, what a rip off!, December 27, 2011

$21.00 plus shipping; I was hoping it would work as claimed on a very small open wound that I have in my stomach area.
When I opened Wound Be Gone up, I couldn't believe that someone would charge $21.00 plus for the smallest tube that I have seen in my life.
But i was still hopeful.
After following the directions and going through the entire tube over the few days, I was very displeased with Wound Be Gone.
When someone advertises that its the same as used by the hospitals or whatever, run the other way.
It is now common practice for producers of products to log on and put in great reviews. So be careful with reading reviews on Amazon.
False advertisement is now the American way.
The makers of Wound Be Gone, should be wounded!

From what I can tell it creates a protective barrier to keep out dirt etc which always helps a wound heal. You do have to wear a bandage of some sort as it is sticky, however it is soothing. I had to resort to a more aggressive method of healing my wound but all in all I think it is a good product for small minor injuries such as scratches and minor surface wounds.
