5.0 out of 5 stars A great blast from the past...
For anyone who listened to Christian contemporary music throughout the 1990's, this album will serve as a wonderful journey into your history. I found myself singing along with songs I haven't heard or even thought about for ten years. Of course, there are a few clunkers, especially Carman's "Serve the Lord." 1.0 out of 5 stars Condition was not as claimed
CD was rated as being in Very Good condition but was not. Not only was the CD scratched and worn, it was missing one of the two CDs it was supposed to contain. I returned it.

For anyone who listened to Christian contemporary music throughout the 1990's, this album will serve as a wonderful journey into your history. I found myself singing along with songs I haven't heard or even thought about for ten years. Of course, there are a few clunkers, especially Carman's "Serve the Lord." However, there are some all-time classics that deserve to be heard again and again, including Rich Mullins' "Awesome God," Steven Curtis Chapman's "The Great Adventure," DC Talk's "My Will," and Chris Rice's "Deep Enough to Dream."

It seems to me that the first disc is much stronger than the second. In any case, this is good stuff, and I'd recommend it to anyone who is willing to tolerate a somewhat dated sound but who wants to worship with some classic tunes from the great decade of the 90's.

5.0 out of 5 stars A WONDERFUL WOW!!!, January 7, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: WOW The 90's: 30 Top Christian Songs of the Decade (Audio CD)
I only wanted to write a review because this WOW was SO GREAT!!! It includes the best songs from the 90s on 2 discs! ALL of the songs were wonderful, but my particular favorites were . . .

- Keep the Candle Burning

- Awesome God

- People Get Ready

- Great Adventure

- That's What Love Is For

- Place In This World

- God Is In Control

- Shine

- Jesus Freak

- I Will Be Here For You

- Where There Is Faith

Believe me . . . those ARE certainly the best songs! I found this WOW one of my favorites, and I'm sure you will too once you buy it (which should be as soon as possible) - you will REALLY love it like I did!!

No comments on this. I made the mistake of confusing the Christian music for Gospel music. I am only familiar with one artist on the cd.

2.0 out of 5 stars Thank Goodness..., September 28, 2007

Thank goodness Christian music is a lot better nowadays than it was in the 90's! It's hard to imagine a time before there was David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Delirious, Jeremy Camp, Mercy Me, Relient K, Toby Mac, Leeland, Shawn McDonald, and Jars of Clay made the Wow Worship CD's.
