WOWee One Pocket-Sized Rechargeable Speaker with Patented Subwoofer Technology for iPad, iPod, iPhone, MP3 Players, Laptops, Mobile Phones, and Personal Game Systems
Big Sound for Mobile Devices in the Palm of Your Hand
The WOWee One is an innovative, pocket-sized, rechargeable speaker for mobile devices including iPad, iPod, laptops, iPhone, netbooks, iPad, mobile phones, MP3 players, GameBoy and PSP. The WOWee One unleashes your music by allowing you to pump out tunes or other audio without it sounding thin or faint. The WOWee One delivers more dynamic sound right out of the pocket than products costing and weighing more than three times as much.
Turn Surfaces into Subwoofers for Thumping Bass
The WOWee One device uses a unique dual-speaker solution in one unit that also houses an internal rechargeable battery to deliver thumping lows and clear highs. A top-firing speaker provides high-range fidelity for crisp sound projection. A second down-firing speaker uses patented Gel Audio™ technology to project low frequency sound waves through the bottom of the WOWee One to turn the object or surface it touches into an on-the-fly subwoofer. A wall, window, desk, table, cooler, paddle board, the hood of a car...even the floor joins the party with a WOWee One on it. You not only hear the sound...but also feel it.
Great on the Go
The self-contained device is light and easily fits in a pocket, handbag, backpack, or glove compartment so it's always handy. Keep the party going all day because WOWee One lasts for up to 20 hours on a full charge. The WOWee One features a mini-USB port for charging or powering the unit when connected to a standard powered USB port with the included cable.
Easy to Connect and Use
The WOWee One connects to the audio/headphone jack of any mobile device through its own audio jack and comes with a standard 3.5mm audio cable. It works with iPod, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, iPod Nano, BlackBerry, Droid, PSP, Gameboy or any device with a headphone or audio output jack using a standard 3.5mm audio cable. The unit has no switches. It powers up when the audio cable is connected and powers down when not connected. The WOWee can play and charge at the same time for unlimited audio.
How Do You WOWee?
Since different objects and surfaces have different sound characteristics, part of the fun with your WOWee One is finding new ways to use it. Sit it on a cooler for an instant beach party. Place it behind a plant on an end table for out-of-sight yet all-over-the-room sound. Put it on the floor in a corner and feel the thumping in your feet as sound rises from the ground. It's not just for music either. Connect it to your iPad to fuel a business presentation or create an instant portable movie theater. Turn your mobile phone into a table top conference call unit everyone can hear. The possibilities are endless.

The speaker is really good, but when the volume is in the maximum it makes some annoying noises with the bass and it starts moving around the surface, so be careful, it can. Read morePublished 22 months ago by Alan Borba

Wowee arrived damaged, but Amazon made it super easy to return. For some reason, Amazon wasn't ready to send another so I ended up purchasing it elsewhere.Published on January 19, 2012 by Doreen A. Myers
I usually travel with my JBL Duet speakers that I've had since 2008. They have an amazing range, output at 6 watts each and are light enough to pack. Read morePublished on December 19, 2011 by Blue Caribe
It's only a 2 watt speaker. The sound is good, nice bass tones on a wood desk, but even at full volume on the iPod, it's not loud enough. Read morePublished on September 20, 2011 by Happy Traveler
