But that sounds like a dull work! Really this is an interesting time capsule, the WPA literary project's guide to Minnesota. Scenic highlights, prominent industries, historical sites, and notable architecture are cataloged. If you're considering a small town, the entry could be pretty short. Here for Minneapolis though, I can get a real feel for the neighborhoods, the tram cars, the wooden street paving just being pulled up, and the immigrant experience.
