Product Description

"TRUST YOURSELF...THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN FAIL HERE IS IF YOU WON'T WRITE...ALL ARTISTIC ENDEAVORS ARE ACHIEVEMENTS UNTO THEMSELVES...AND, IF YOU CAN HOLD A CONVERSATION WITH SOMEONE, DESCRIBE THE DREAM YOU HAD LAST NIGHT, SHARE A CHILDHOOD MEMORY, OR DISCUSS WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU AT WORK TODAY, THEN, BELIEVE ME, YOU CAN WRITE."

Whether you're a published author finding yourself at a standstill with a new manuscript, a first-time novelist grappling with your debut, or a lover of literature who wants to gain some insight into what it takes to write a good book, this motivational tutorial will help keep the juices flowing and demystify the creative process at the same time.

"Saint Marie has a reassuring and gentle voice, and 'WRITE NOW!' is a must-have for anyone with writer's block, self-doubts, or even just a healthy intellectual curiosity." --Editor, BD Books

Although this download was cheap, it was not what I expected. It is not a book, but a booklet. It only has ten pages of content (lots of title pages etc) that include topic headings with short follow ups. I'm suspicious of the previous reviews, one said they hadn't finished it yet but liked the first few chapters - what chapters? It's ten pages. They other said they had a completed book within days of finishing this. Really? What, 50-100 thousand words in a couple of days, all edited nicely and ready for publishing? Doubtful.
This is the sort of e-booklet I would expect as a free sample or something. The content is not terrible just not very informative.
I would have liked to have known the brevity of this publication before paying money for it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good intro for the Newbee, Good reminders for the pro, September 5, 2011

A very short book, but well worth the 99 cents.

A little top heavy on enthusiasm directed at the wannabe writer, but I understand the strategy, You never know if you don't try.

Great hints for newbees, great reminders for the the writer who is already doing it and selling it.

I particularly liked: "Know where your characters are." It's a particularly important reminder for mystery writers.

5.0 out of 5 stars I liked "Write Now! How to write a Novel Today". by author Francine Saint Marie, June 4, 2011

I liked "Write Now! How to write a Novel Today". I believe if you are already a writer the book may disappoint you and you may not see the books value. I believe this kindle is for someone that has always wanted to write but was afraid to write for many of the reasons brought out in the book.

It might be easy for a person that reads this kindle to say, "I knew that and It didn't tell me anything I didn't already know", but I don't believe it. I believe this is the right book/kindle for someone that has never written a book or a Kindle but has always wanted to.

I specifically liked the part where it lets the person doing the writings know that they can worry too much about grammar while they are writing their book and point out that they should first write it and then edit it or get someone qualified to edit it for them after they have written the book.

I don't want to say too much about the book, out of respect for the author. My appreciation to author Francine Saint Marie for writing this book it covered some of the same problem area for writers that I had.
This book was relatively short but not too short. I feel this Kindle covered many things that I learned the hard way.

THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION: WHERE IS EVERYBODY? What have they done? What are they doing? What do they want to do? What are they destined to do? Just answer these five questions constantly as you're writing, and you've got the whole story! It's that simple. (By the way, this is another good sign. Print this up, too, and post it.) "e;
