Bicycle saddles are a personal thing. Everybody will not like this saddle. Probably more than 80% of cyclist will not like any saddle that someone else loves. So, any review of a saddle is very much a matter of personal taste.

I have 5 high quality bicycles in my stable and all of them have this saddle installed. I use it on my mountain bikes and road bikes. It is also on one of my girlfriend's bikes and she likes it much more than the women-specific Specialized saddle that it came with.

I can't say I've tried hundreds of saddles, but I've had my share. This one fits me perfectly and lets me sit on the bike all day without any butt fatigue. I'm not a racer, and don't watch every gram I put on my bikes. What I do is enjoy all types of riding. Saddle comfort is a very important part of enjoying a ride.

I hope you find a saddle that works for you as well as this one does for me. This saddle has a very reasonable price and is well made; maybe you should give it a try.

Bicycle saddles are a personal preference for the right fit. I love this saddle, especially for mountain biking. I have purchased a few of these. WTB seats are generally great, but this one is especially comfortable and relatively reasonably priced.

This seat looks great and had good reviews. But for me it's just not comfortable. I'm not a big guy but it felt too narrow at the back. After trying the seat in various positions I have given up and purchased another seat.

Good balance between firmness and comfort. There is no perfect saddle! But this one is better than many I've suffered through.
Could be a little narrower.

The WTB Speed V ProGel saddle is a life saver. I purchased a tandem that came with a generic saddle and instantly suffered 'return to cycling' numb posterior syndrome. Nothing I tried helped with position or saddle height, but switching to the WTB ProGel made the difference. I am a weekly rider and often ride 30 miles a day to work, but the tandem is a ride in the evening with my wife bike and having a saddle that made it uncomfortable ruined many rides.

The WTB ProGel is not only comfortable but well built. The rails have a significant amount of fore and aft adjustment, the leather is well stitched and the padding where the ishium of the pelvis sets is well designed.

I replaced the lousy seat on my mountain bike with the WTB Speed V Progel. After 25 miles on the bike path, I did not experienced any pain like I did before with the old seat.

Bought this to replace my stock seat on my trek SU-100. It is much more comfortable. Glad I made this purchase.

It's not the softest seat that you can buy, and the letter on the side will detach after 2 rides, but after few rides seat gets really comfortable. It beats what I had with my Trekk (really hard on your buttocks). After 12 miles a day 3 times a week no soreness at all. I would recommend it for all male riders. It could have more cushion in the back perhaps.

Bought this for my Kona Caldera hardtail mountain bike. It is perfect for a bluejean rider like myself. Very comfortable - no case of sore butt from the fire road and single track type of riding I mainly do. A great comfort saddle for the trail - perfect for a recreational mountain biker. I have many miles on mine and would buy another in a second if I had to but this one is holding up just fine.

This saddle far exceeds the one that came stock on my $2500 MTB. It is comfortable enough that I can ride sans padded shorts for a few miles without soreness. So now if I want to go for a quick ride I don't have to get "dressed out".
