Good sound, love the retractable feature, but I have to send back for warranty replacement,

Bought the white Chicbuds with watermelon rhinestones for my daughter for Christmas 2009. I searched and searched for earbuds with a retractable mechanism 'cause the way my kid wraps her earbud cords around her iPod for storage, she kept getting a short in the wire. I thought a retractable mechanism would solve the problem: It appears to have done that perfectly. Plus, it was love at first sight when my daughter first saw these Chicbuds. They are so cute! She is the envy of the other girls. The retractable mechanism works perfectly, and has a really good feel to it. But, within 10 days of very light use (ie., they weren't knocking around in her heavy bookbag during the school day), a rhinestone had come off. I contacted Chicbuds company directly about it. They told me Chicbuds have a LIFETIME warranty and that they will gladly replace the product if I'll send it back to them. So, there's just one problem. My daughter has her Chicbuds about superglued to her ears, so I haven't been able to return them yet. In the meantime, another rhinestone has fallen off. Perhaps I can get them away from her at the beginning of the week...
