5.0 out of 5 stars A Backlash to Remember May 2, 2005
I ordered Backlash for one specific reason: to see Hulk Hogan one more time in the ring. This was no disrespect to the other wrestlers, but I am a Hulkamaniac first, then a fan of everyone else secondly. When I saw HBK and Hogan in the ring a couple of weeks earlier, that sold the PPV for me. However, I overlooked how great the other matches could be. Raw once again proved that even with a weak card, they can still put on very entertaining PPVs. And there were some classics in this PPV.

1) Shelton Benjamin vs. Y2J- 10/10- Excellent opener. This could be a future main event. Benjamin is extremely gifted in that ring and deserves a good main event push. And what hasn't been said about Y2J? I liked their Taboo Tuesday match, but I went nuts for this match. The moves these two pull off are amazing. The best way to open the PPV.

2) Tag Team Turmoil- 7/10- The Heart Throbs and Simon Dean and Maven should not have been in this match. They both have not had enough teaming experience to really make a legit threat. However the last 2 matches of this contest I liked, especially the shocker that the Hurricane and Rosey actually won the titles. Regal and Tajiri had a good reign.

3) Edge vs. Benoit- Last Man Standing- 8/10- It was a pretty good match with some nice spots. I was a little upset that there weren't more weapons used, but I'm probably complaining too much. The end felt a little weak as well. But overall, it was a good contest.

4) Kane vs. Viscera- 8/10- I personally liked the match. If the divas weren't outside causing more havoc, the score would probably be down a few points. But the aftermath with Viscera and Trish was excellent.....and disturbing.......

5) Hogan/HBK vs. Hassan/Divari- 10/10- Excellent match.

4.0 out of 5 stars Backlash will be good! April 26, 2005
A Kid's Review
This will be the order of the card of Backlash this Sunday.

William Regal & Tajiri vs The Heart Throbs vs. La Resistance vs. Simon Dean & Maven vs. Hurricane & Rosey in a Tag Team Turmoil for the World Tag Titles: (This match will happen, believe me)

Kane (w/Lita) vs. Viscera (w/Trish)

Last Man Standing: Edge vs. Chris Benoit

Intercontinental Championship

Haasan & Daivari vs. Michaels & Hogan

World Heavyweight Championship

Does anybody agree with me that the tag team turmoil will happen if yes then say my review was helpful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good PPV June 14, 2005
40-50 Horrible PPV

50-69 Bad PPV

69-78 Decent PPV

78-85 Good PPV

85-92 Great PPV

92+ EXCELLENT PPV

Shelton Benjamin vs Chris Jericho IC title- Good choice of opener. It got the crowd hot. These two work awesome together. Match of the Night. Nice Springboard backflip by Benjamin. Then it looked like Benjamin was going to powerbomb Y2J on the floor but, then Y2J reversed it into a hurricanrana. Then Benjamin gave him the T-bone suplex but Jericho got to the ropes. Benjamin reverses to a roll up to retain the IC title. Match Rating 10

Tag Team Turmoil Regal & Tajiri vs La Resitance vs The Heart Throbs vs Maven & Simon Dean Hurricane & Rosey Dean Tag Titles- Good tag action. Regal and Tajiri eliminated Maven and Simon Dean and The Heart Throbs. Then La Resitance got the tights to eliminate Regal and Tajiri. Then Hurricane and Rosey eliminated La Resitance. Hurricane and Rosey win the tag titles. Match Rating 8

Last Man Standing Edge vs Chris Benoit- Great match. The only thing I don't like about these matchese are that the count is so slow. There were some really nice spots like Benoit doing a sucide dive and Edge hitting him while he did it, German suplex off the ladder, a superplex onto a trash can, and a brick to the head. Edge wins. Match Rating 8.5

Kane vs Viscera- Ok big man match. Kane carried Viscera but, Viscera did some nice moves. Kane wins. Match Rating 5

HBK & Hogan vs Muhummad Hassan & Davria- Nice to see the Hulkster match. There is a long celebration before and after the match. Hassan gets a lead pipe and hits HBK with it. Then Hogan goes for the legdrop then Hassan hits him with the lead pipe. Then HBK hits Sweet Chin Music and Hogan & Michaels gets the win.

4.0 out of 5 stars Backlash is looking great..... April 25, 2005
A Kid's Review
Backlash 2005 is looking like it will be a lot better than the last three years in a row. Now this year has some potential match of the year candidates, and I can't wait for May 1st.

Kane vs. Viscera, Lita and Trish in each of their corners:

This will just be a filler, but look for some big man moves, but also some slow moves. Won't be good.

William Regal and Tajiri vs. The Heart Throbs:

The Heart Throbs are like Billy and Chuck except they jump around a lot. If they win the titles I will lose respect for the storyline creators, plain and simple.

Intercontinental Championship - Chris Jericho vs. Shelton Benjamin:

This will be one of the potential show stealers, maybe even match of the year candidate. The last year match at Taboo Tuesday wasn't that long but then again Jericho didn't know who his opponent was. Now this match has some buildup and will be great.

Shawn Michales and Hulk Hogan vs. Mohammad Hassan and Davarian:

This will increase buyrates just because Hogan will do "One last match" Look for some funny spots and some great crowd enthusiasm.

Edge vs. Chris Benoit - Last Man Standing Match:

This will be another potential show stealer just because of all the brutality that these two can produce. Look for trash cans, chairs, tables, and ladders to be used.

HHH vs. Batista - World Heavyweight Championship:

This will be better than their first match. What better way than to prove the pedigree is so devastating than seeing HHH pedigree Batista through the announce table? Besides that look for more blood and some chairs being used at least.

Backlash 2005 is only continuing the great year so far that 2005 has been. Keep up the good work.
