Best Great American Bash the WWE has put on,
By Scotty M. "Little Nose" (Georgia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: WWE: The Great American Bash 2007 (DVD)
Since the WWE brought back the Bash in 2004, they wasn't all that good, but I believe this was the best Bash the WWE has put on since bringing the Great American Bash back to ppv.1. United States Championship Matt Hardy vs. MVP This was one of the best openers of the year. These 2 really work well with each other and they put on a good showing. Lost of back and fourth action, a lot of close near pin falls, and some good wrestling to add to it. Great back and fourth match up. The crowd was very into this one. 4/5 2. Cruiserweight Open for the Cruiserweight Championship Chavo Guererro vs. Funaki vs. Shannon Moore vs. Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Jamie Noble This wasn't a bad match whatsoever. Some good high flying offense and some good wrestling. I wasn't too fond of the conclusion but it worked in pretty well. 3/5 3. Singapore Cane on a Pole Match Sandman vs. Carlito Before I start, the cane does not even get used once in this entire match. Kind of boring but I really liked the ending, it was pretty good to me. 2.5/5 4. Women's Championship Melina vs. Candice Michelle I give credit to these two divas, they really put on a good match. Its a shame that Candice got injured when she did, she is really trying to become the next Trish so a speak in wrestling ability for the divas now a days. This was a pretty darn good women's match up. 3.5/5 5. Intercontinental Championship Umaga vs. Jeff Hardy This was another good match up as well. Umaga had his powerhouse and big impact moves going for him and Hardy had his classic Hardy high flying offense working for him too. Hardy did everything he could to beat Umaga but it didn't work for him this night. It was amazing to see Hardy picking up Umaga & trying to slam him. The crowd was really into this match as well. Very good match. 4/5 6. Ecw World Championship CM Punk vs. John Morrison These 2 always put on a good show no matter what the situation is and this match was no exception. Pretty good match but it ended so suddenly. 4/5 7. Texas Bull Rope Match Randy Orton vs. Dusty Rhodes Now the match wasn't bad but it just didn't gave anything special besides a hard head shot with the cowbell at the end. Orton kills another legend. 3/5 8. World Heavyweight Championship Batista vs. the Great Khali vs. Kane This was pretty above average triple threat with these 3 big men. Khali really didn't do anything worth seeing but it got better when Kane and Batista took out Khali with the announce table. Good match to see after it was thrown together at the last minute on smackdown 2 days earlier. 3.5/5 9. WWE Championship Bobby Lashley vs. John Cena This match really surprised me, a lot. Cena actually tryed to wrestle in this match but Lashley really did took Cena to school and back. Lashley proved he could be the champion one day and I believed he earned his in this match. Lashley really dominated Cena during this match. 4/5 Like I said earlier, this was the best Great American Bash the WWE has put on since buying WCW in 2001. I recommend on getting your hands on this one.

United States Champion MVP vs. Matt Hardy - The beginning of what has become the most entertaining fued currently on SmackDown! Good opener here as they went to the top rope & stayed on the mat thoughout various times in the match. These two meshed well together & it was given enough time (over 15 mins.) you would enjoy a rematch between the two.Crusierweight Open Match: Unlike other Crusierweight Opens, all the guys were in the ring at the same time & the first one to get the pin wins. This was the best Crusierweight Match I've seen in WWE this year as it showcased what the division should be all about. There was some high flyin'spots along with good fast paced in ring wrestling. The ending with Hornswoggle was funny & it didn't take away from the match itself. As a side note, listen for the line from JBL that said, "He's the shortest champion since Tazz" as that will come into play later on. Singapore On A Cane Match: I just didn't think this match was good at all. They didn't mesh well & the cane didn't even come into play until the finish when Sandman finally got it but got that "backstabber" right afterwards before the cane was even used. Womens Champion Candice Michelle vs. Melina - I have to give credit to Candice Michelle as she's heavily improved in the ring as it showcased here. Very good Women's match and another in a good series of womens matches been having after that WrestleMania disaster. Check out what Candice did backstage after the match in a moment worthy of Ron Simmons' "DAMN!" Intercontinental Champion Umaga vs. Jeff Hardy - This match was good & watchable as they followed the basic formula of the Umaga beating down Hardy only for him to get his comeback and go back & forth with Umaga until Umaga overcame & got the victory. This was one of the rare matches that the crowd got into thoughout the night which made it seem better but besides that, another good match. ECW Champion John Morrison vs. CM Punk - Before I get started, listen for Tazz's comeback to the J.B.L. line earlier in the show where he said something to the degree of "I'm not the type of color man to put myself over. Nobody wants to hear that." The match was better than their Vengeance encounter & comes in right behind their ECW on Sci-Fi match (where Punk won the title) as their best encounter. Bullrope Match: Dusty Rhodes vs. Randy Orton - This was a very short match that served it's purpose in that Randy Orton beat another legend...in this case, the legend who created the event itself. Besides that & Cody Rhodes appearence after the match, nothing noteworthy here. World Champion Great Khali vs. Batista vs. Kane - Another injury & another champion in Khali here. All I can really say about this match is that this match was alright whenever Khali wasn't in it as the only good spot he did was going through the ECW announce table (I guess the spanish guys got replaced?). Batista & Kane tried but you can't pull a good performance out of a guy who doesn't have it in him. Right around here, there was a segment between Jerry Lawler & King Booker that would set up their fued on RAW for the coming weeks but nothing happened here & came off as a boring filler. WWE Champion John Cena vs. Bobby Lashley - While this match didn't have the buildup like WrestleMania, WWE sure did hype this match up like they would do a WM main event with video packages of each man's career throughout the night. The match stated out slow but worked it's way up thoughout the match. They exchanged some power moves with Lashley working on Cena's ribs throughout the match. The ending had Cena dropping an FU from the top rope. I thought this was Lashley's best PPV performance since before his ECW run while this was one of Cena's best "non-gimmick" matches during his WWE Championship run. Overall, this PPV WASN'T worth the $40 WWE charged you to see live on PPV but it's worth the money for a rental as the matches were good & watchable with few moments that you would use the "skip" button for. I recommend for a rental or a purchase for a low price.

The Best of the WWE Bashes,
By
This review is from: WWE: The Great American Bash 2007 (DVD)
Let's be honest, WWE's last three attempts at THE GREAT AMERICAN BASH have been met with mixed reviews, most of them negative. I agree with those critics, but I hope most will agree with me that with this 2007 edition, the WWE mostly got it right.1) United States Championship Matt Hardy vs. M.V.P. (champion) ---Both competitors have improved vastly within the past year, and show why they deserve the PPV spotlight and career pushes. This opener is kept to a nice, and is filled with creative false finishes towards the end. The finish is a tad weak, but this is a good way to kick off the show. "7.0 out of 10" 2) Open Invitational - Cruiserweight Championship Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Jamie Noble vs. Funaki vs. Shannon Moore vs. Chavo Guerrero (champion) ---I don't recall this being advertised for the PPV; SMACKDOWN sure knows how to deliver good PPV bonuses. These five guys compete in an exciting one-fall match that finally allows this division to shine. I hope the WWE allows this weight class to get some more much-needed airtime. I think this clocked in at about 10 minutes, and the finish is a shocking surprise...No, I'm not giving it away (you probably know anyway). "7.0 out of 10" 3) Singapore-Cane-On-A-Pole The Sandman vs. Carlito ---RAW's first match of the evening is more intriguing than it is exciting. Carlito is capable of good matches, and Sandman really gives his best effort. However, the showdown felt like a joke that has an amusing setup but without a punchline. The Singapore Cane psychology is decent, but most viewers will be let down by this one. "5.0 out of 10" 4) Women's Championship Melina vs. Candice Michelle (champion) --Boy, this one surprised the hell out of me! These ladies avoid those stupid catfight antics, and showcase some nice takedowns and mat wrestling. This isn't a great match, but it reminds us how the ladies can compete if given the chance. The GoDaddy Girl and MNM Diva just reignited my interest in the Women's division. "6.5 out of 10" 5) Intercontinental Championship Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga (champion) ---Another pleasant surprise, as things played out decently. Umaga continues to be a dominant competitor without being invincible. Jeff Hardy is resilient, and actually made me believe he could beat a superstar like Umaga. Like the Women's Title Match, nothing to brag about, but much better than I thought it would be. The San Jose crowd ate this one up; I'm gonna go with "not bad". "6.5 out of 10" 6) ECW World Title John Morrison (champion) vs. CM Punk ---CM Punk and the man formerly known as "Johnny Nitro" continue to impress me. Punk has been over with the fans for months, and Morrison has always been an entertaining superstar. Like their VENGEANCE contest, these two convince skeptics like me to give ECW some more time to grow. Their first encounter started a little slow and ended strong; this BASH rematch keeps a consistent solid pace...and then ends with a weak finish. Seriously, I don't think I've seen a more ridiculous cause for a clean pinfall in my life. Watch it, enjoy it, but be ready for an upsetting upset. "7.0 out of 10" 7) Texas Bullrope Match Randy Orton vs. Dusty Rhodes ---Ah, the disrespectful Legend Killer against the man who pioneered the Texas Bullrope Match. Sorry folks, but JBL/Guerrero this ain't. After some entertaining psychology and amusing spots during the opening minutes, this match just ends out of nowhere. Even though Rhodes can't compete nearly at the level he used to, he still knows how to play a crowd. I also believe Orton can sell punishment better than most. Admirable effort, but not worth my PPV dollars. "5.0 out of 10" 8) World Heavyweight Championship Kane vs. Batista vs. The Great Khali (champion) ---This SMACKDOWN main event has to have the most chaotic damage-control booking ever in the show's history. I'll give you some history: * Kane had a title shot against Edge, but the Rated-R Superstar had to vacate his title due to injury. * Batista has failed to win this title back 5 times, all fair and square. I have no idea why he's still in the title hunt. * The Great Khali was booked to have a grudge match against Batista, but won the vacant belt 2 days prior. He later interfered in the Batista/Kane #1 Contender Match, which resulted in this 3-way affair. So what happens when these three giants compete for the gold? Thankfully, SMACKDOWN's main event isn't a complete mess, but it's still not very good. Khali is damn-near invincible (or just a no-seller), and Batista & Kane just don't mesh very well together. The action is never unwatchable or slow, but ultimately unsatisfying. "5.0 out of 10" 9) WWE Championship Bobby Lashley vs. John Cena (champion) ---Finally, we get to witness what may be RAW's biggest PPV main event of the year so far. A lot of speculation went into this, as Lashley never lost his ECW World Title, and Cena has been in the WWE Title picture for over 2 years. I was eagerly awaiting this clash of the titans, but I don't think the main event is as good as it could've been. Lashley does most of the work, while Cena doesn't do anything you haven't seen him do before. Seriously, other than some wicked shoot-takedowns from Lashley, there is no originality in this match whatsoever. It's almost as if the first half of a classic battle was skipped, and we only got to see the breathtaking 10-minute conclusion. Where's the buildup? What's the rush? Why only 13 minutes of bell-to-bell action? I gave some other matches a 6.5, which was a compliment because they were much better than expected. But this main event had weeks to hype, and while it's not bad, it's not the classic we knew these two were capable of. "6.5 out of 10" OVERALL What this WWE GREAT AMERICAN BASH lacks is a classic showcase. The inferior predecessors at least had a must-see match, like JBL/Guerrero or Booker/Mysterio. The 2007 BASH is the WWE's best because it keeps a consistent pace and is never boring. There's little talking, only one attempt at WWE comedy (which is actually funny for a change), and you can tell WWE put a strong effort into this PPV. My personal review for this PPV is 3.5 stars, but I'm going to give it 4 stars because I'm sure most fans will enjoy some of the marquee matches more than I did. At the very least, give GREAT AMERICAN BASH 2007 a rental.

I WAS THERE LIVE AND SAW IT ALL, SO I WILL TELL YA HOW IT WENT,

This review is from: WWE: The Great American Bash 2007 (DVD)
This is my second coming, you can check out my other reviews at my old name syco marcus from cali. in the dvd, if you have it, And on the left side you can see me in a white robe when theyre going down the ramp, well i take it off after, it's around my waist, but im there!the pre match: Chuck Palumbo Vs (now fired) Chris Masters Now i like that they brought chuck back, hes a good wrestler with potential charisma. i didnt know at the time that i had the closest to the rail seat, next to the ramp on the side. Because Chuck walk passed parking his motorcycle right behind the fans. but after this ok match with chuck using that swinging slam to pick up the victory. he came back and i gave him a high five!!! To kick it of was the... 1) U.S. Title- Matt Hardy Vs MVP both hardy's challenging for titles, could they do it? MVP dominated with picking him up on his back and just dropping him, he was being very technical. Matt had the crowd chanting HARDY loud and strong, giving him huge pops as he deserves. MVP missed his player's boot in the corner and got a roll up from hardy but didnt do it. Matt got a side effect, but it didnt do it. When hardy attempted another side effect mvp got a unizue small package. Matt did the signature leg drop from the second rope(the drop shot)but for the first time i'd ever seen he didnt to the taunt he does. matt landing a crossbody over the ropes to mvp was the highlight. mvp got a superplex. When mvp went for a belly to back superplex matt reversed into a crossbody. matt did a second rope bulldog to mvp. matt seemed really out of it. he went to the top from the outside and slipped. once when matt was on the top rope he was brought down the hard way, mvp grabbig his leg and yanking him off. MVP got a normal shot with his boot and that layed out hardy then all he had to do was the playmaker, sloppy, for the 3 count. WINNER:MVP- 2/5, boring match, good cheers for hardy 2) Open Invitational for the Cruiserweight title- Funaki Vs Shannon Moore Vs Jamie Noble Vs Jimmy Wang Yang Vs Chavo(c) This is my favorite match of the night, well wrestling ability and excitement. Also note when the bell rings, hornswoggle is in the ring, then scampers out under the ring. Every ones starts going after chavo and throws him outside the ring. Jimmy gets a hurricanranna on noble. Noble goes for a german suplex jimmy lands on his feet then delivers a huge spinning heel kick. Chavo and shannon are in the ring going at it, then funaki does a crossbody on both men. Chavo does a baseballslide rolling jimmy into a half boston crab. funaki with a enziguri. funaki enziguri to shannon. funaki goes for a tornado ddt from the corner on noble, but he reverses into a northern light and then jumps into and armbar. shannon out of nowhere top rope leg drop to noble. chavo gets the gory bomb to funaki. chavo uses the 3 amigos on noble. people cheer for chavo, but he's a heel, but the whol eddie thing. while chavo is standing jimmy gets a huge top rope moonsault. noble backdrops shannon over the ropes onto funaki. jimmy goes for a heel kick noble goes under and flies into shannon and funaki on the outside. jimmy goes to the top to look to fly on all of them, but chavo stops it goes for a superplex, then noble gets in the ring underneath with an electric chair to chavo, so a triple drop there. then hornswoggle goes to the top, tad pole splash to noble for the win!!! Everyone erupts. i was wondering who was going to win, those guys werent big enough stars to win. Now the title has been thrown out sadly WINNER: Hornswoggle- 4/5, good match 3) singapore cane on a pole match- the sandman Vs Carlito Whoever gets the cane down can use it as a legal weapon is how this match worked. Sandman last ppv event. At least he got to come through the crowd. He was stopped after a fan said he supposedly threw her, bled on her, humiliated her. Nothing really happened in this match, just trying to get the cane, once sandman did he went to go use it, everyone wants that to happen, a swinng and a miss, carlito gets the backstabber for the lame win. No wonder Carlito is quitting WWE WINNER:Carlito-1/2 out of 5 4) womens title- candice michelle(c) vs Melina melina had candice in her leg head scissor submission, candice reversed out into a bridge pin, then melina rose up as they were both connected reversing into a backslide. candice got a fireman's carry into a bridge pin. Melina had candice in the corner on the second rope, and drove her knees inot her. melina with a sleeper with scissors on the rope to candice. melina wrapped candice's arm over each other and drove her down, falling in the splits, like an edge o' matic or cobra cluth bomb. melina hit necbreaker, falling in the splits again. candice hit a crossbody from the top. candice went for her spinning heel kick, melina ducked. candice went for an unpettier, melina tried to reverse, and candice reversed with a bulldog, trying for her finisher the candi wrapper. and it was over. And candice saw my sign saying she was the best womens champion, she pointed at me. WINNER: candice- 4/5- good match -A funny segment after the match. Hardy's are talking, candice comes up and poors water all over herself, sexy music, slow motion. just the look on matt face is priceless. But of all people, ron simmons shows up. And For the first time i ever heard he says his signature damn very different, like drueling over her soft voice way. The fans loved this segment. 5)Intercontinental Title- Umaga(c) Vs Jeff Hardy Jeff failed before to take that title offf umaga. and umaga wrestled santino many times to finally win it back. Jeff saw my sign saying he is god, and gave a fist up to me. Jeff jawbreaker, but then umaga with the huge samoan drop. umaga puts jeff under the ropes and drives his huge butt into hardy twice, hardy blocked the third one. umaga on the outside hardy get a baseballslide dropkick then hits a crossbody on the outside. jeff jumps off the top umaga catches him and does a huge spinning bossman sidewalk slam. Umaga going for a headbutt from the second rope, jeff moves. umaga goes for the huge but in the corner misses jeff with a whisper in the wind. J.R. calling it twist of fate. fans are into it thinking jeff can do it. umaga goes for a splash in the corner, jeff moves, umaga down, swanton bomb. Everyone thinks its over but umaga kicks out. Fans are mad. Jeff looks for a twist of fate umaga throws off and hits a superkick. jeff in the corner gets hit with that butt, then a huge samoan spike and its over like that. WINNER:umaga, 3/5, ok match when jeff does good 6) ECW World title- John Morrison(c) Vs CM Punk Now these two could put on a hell of a show. But they dont, not once in they're rivalry. Especially that Morrison keeps on beating Punk makes Punk look dumb. And doesn't Punk have believability, when winning the title after losing three ppv's in a row. Only because john was hurt. But now he's all the best champ. it only took him forever. Because it's pretty sad when morrison was a fill in at Vengeance and won the belt. But Everyone loves Punk, hes one of the best wrestlers on the roster,as of the things he has done his career in indie promotions. He was more popular than RVD, but wwe made his credibility go down. Morrison got some kicks in, punk went for the GTS to no avail, morrison got his signature spinnig leg drop. a series of back and forth roll ups between punk and morrison, where morrison has his hand on the rope but the ref sees it. Punk with a top rope crossbody. punk gets the shining wizard in the corner looking for the bulldog, morrison runs out of the ring. trying to leave. gets thrown back in. Punk going for that top rop closeline but morrison gets some kick in for the win. Not everyone saw the finish, it was botched, a very bad finish to beat punk. I had a sign saying Nitro will go to sleep, i didn't know he changed his name, it was dumb to do a week from the ppv. Punk saw the sign after he lost which was dumb, but he pointed at me. I thought the ECW title was going to be as big as the other two world belts, but it's not. It was big on the card this time, but never again. Its very misused. WINNER: John Morrison-2/5, waste of talent, done badly 7) Texa Bull rope match- Randy Orton Vs Dusty Rhodes Short But Sweet match. When Dusty comes down to the ring a good shot of me with a black shirt and big black glasses. Dusty dominated the beginning. It was awesome when he got the rope between randy's legs did as low blow and flipped him. Dusty got in his elbow shots. pulled randy into a turnbuckle, and onto the ramp. When they got back in the ring randy took over, with the cow bell to dusty's hurt leg. Then a huge shot to the head for the victory. Dumb way to win, no RKO. WINNER: Randy Orton-3/5- short, dumb ending, but good match 8)World Heavyweight Title Kane Vs Batista Vs Great Khali(c) It was suppose to be edge vs kane, that be a pretty good match, i wanted to see edge, but it turned into this. Looked bad on paper but it wasn't that bad. In a battle royal for the title, sadly Khali won it. Kane was suppose to fight for the title and Batista was suppose to fight khali, so triple threat, and people had their favorites to win, but Khali had one fan, it was so cute there was actual india descent people holding a sign and cheering. At the start it was very boring Khali dominating, but he did do a spinning kick. Khali then hits chokeslams, on batista and kane. On the outside khali setting up the announce table for kane, then batista goes for a batista bomb on kahli, yeah right, then it turns into kane chokeslamming and batista spinbustering Khali through the table, what a double team move thorugh the table. Kane does a uppercut to barista that is heard 10 rows away. Then it's just kane and batista in the ring. Huge side slam by kane. Kane with a flying closeling signaling for the chokeslam. Khali in the ring gets chokeslammed instead. Khali goes for the brain chop but Batista does a spinebuster to Khali. Kane does a chokeslam to batista, but he kicks out. Kane frusterated gets a chair, batista reverses and hits a spinebuster. Then a batista bomb. Finisher moves everywhere. Batista is pulled out by khali and thrown inot the stairs. In the ring Khali uses the double handed Chokeslam to kane and its over. I dont know how many times Batista will get so many chances and wresltle so many times against one guy to he gets the belt. It happened with, undertaker, khali, booker, and edge, but he never beat edge and could never challenge him for the title again, funny thing how he got hurt, we have the battle of the monsters, batista gets his title back. Also kane is misused always, losing to all the other monsters. Oh i got to touch him when he walked by. WINNER: AND STILL WORLD CHAMP- Khali-3.5/5, lots of finishers, table broken, but khali is a bad wrestler. -King Booker and Queen Sharmell came out for a segment to trash talk jerry the king. So Booker can beat up that king in matches to come, and to build Triple H and his match. You see this promo for triple H, but its sad when it says returns at summerslam. Same with Rey, he should have wrestled edge or have been here he was on the cover originally. This was a dumb non-needed segment, they released Booker after his match with Triple H, he wasn't on the card so he had to do this to kill time. Kennedy or finlay weren't here how sad for them too. 9) WWE Championship- John Cena(c) VS Bobby lashley This was built up from nothing. Just to be this amazing match. But this is in my opinion the worst main event. I dont like either man, didnt really care who won, didnt want to watch the match. I just hate cena with a passion. But the crowd loves him, huge pop and cheers. Place electrified for this match, except for a couple of us guys out there. Lashley hit his delayed vertical suplex and a torture rack drop. cena hit the leg drop from the top while lashley was hunched over. F-u was hit, took cena forever to get the pin, when he did lashley kicked out. Lashley hit the spear, cena kicked out. Cena got the STF-U, lashley got the ropes. It reminded me of the triple H and cena's match at W22. Then when lashley had cena on the top Cena reversed with a F-U from the top rope. That was kinda cool, but he didnt fall down with him. And Lashley had no way of kicking out of that. WINNER AND STILL CHAMP, John Cena-1/5 The PPV was ok, not that great, u can rent it, but not to buy. I bought it because i was on tv briefly. But seeing it live is different. It was good to see all those wrestlers and pay that money. well that's all this time. I may return next July, as this is the second Great American Bash i have called. I hope you liked it, goodnight everybody

This review is from: WWE: The Great American Bash 2007 (DVD)
Great American Bash of '07 was a very, very solid card. I wish WWE would do their booking like this again.MVP vs. Matt Hardy - Awesome match by 2 great workers. Great opener because it was exciting yet didn't take away from the show at all. I loved this feud. 8/10 Cruiserweight Open - Chavo vs. Shannon Moore vs. Jamie Noble vs. Funaki vs. Jimmy Wang Yang - I wish they would bring back the cruiserweight division so much. This match is great. Very exciting, and these guys really give it their all and put it all on the line. I feel like 8 out of 10 WWE fans would rather see a match like this than Batista vs. Khali vs. Kane. Sadly, this would be the beginning of the end for the cruiserweight division. Funny ending that didnt't take away form the match, and damn it, WWE should bring Shannon Moore back. 9.5/10 Singapore Cane Match - Sandman vs Carlito - Good undercard match. My only complaint is that the cane wasn't used. Decent match, good finish. Carlito really should get a better push in WWE. 7/10 Womens Championship Match - Melina vs. Candice Michelle - O.K. match. Just like any divas match really. However, no recent divas matches hold a candle to Trish vs. Mickie James at Mania 22. Is what it is I guess. 5/10 I.C. Championship Match - Umaga vs Jeff Hardy - Great match, they told the story in the ring well. Umaga is a great worker, and nobody can deny the energy that Hardy brings to the ring. 7.5/10 ECW Title Match - John Morrison vs CM Punk - These two really click in the ring, and have yet to let me down. Great match, both of these two need to be on top of the company in my opinion. 8/10 Texas Bull Rope Match - Randy Orton vs Dusty Rhodes - The build up to this match was good, but it hardly served a purpose. Everybody knew that Orton would win, and everyone knew Rhodes would be slow. Again, it was what it was. 5/10 Triple Threat for World Heavyweight Championship - Kane vs. Batista vs. Great Khali - Worst match of the night. Kane had to carry this match, and he deserves more than he gets in WWE. Everyone knows that. Slow match, as expected. 4/10 WWE Championship - John Cena vs Bobby Lashley - Great match, and had tons of hype behind it. I'm glad Cena won as Lashley would leave WWE soon after this. Good match though, OK finish. 7.5/10 This DVD is def worth the buy. My personal favorite match is the cruiserweight open, but this is a very solid card. Could have done without the World Championship match, but whatever. Overall - 8/10
