A excellent profile on the eXtreme diva Lita,
By Peter Hawkins (Newcastle UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: WWE: Lita - It Just Feels Right [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Lita: It Just Feels Right is a documentry based on the flame haired divas time in the WWE. There is also lots of childhood pictures and personal footage of her home. It is a nice program which covers her rise to fame, highlighting her greatest moments, alliances and title wins. If you are a Lita fan this is definately worth buying. The DVD contains a wealth of good extras, ranging from a huge total of 10 extra matches to some video packages. There is also some amusing home video clips. The boxart is quite attractive, with a picture of Lita surrounded with a pink background. There is an insert card inside telling you all the chapters and extras. I will run through both the chapters and extras:Main Feature: Who is Lita? - This chapter has comments on Lita from the Hardy brothers, Trish Stratus, Stephanie McMahon and Jim Ross. It then has some introductory talking from Lita and then the music opening hits. Big Break - A good chapter, focusing on Litas break into the independant scene. Lita then shows a collection of masks she keeps in her home kitchen. There is some fascinating OMEGA footage, and it then disscusses Litas big break into the WWE, along with her alliance with Essa Rios. Lita Teams Up - This chapter is all about Litas alliance with the Hardy Boyz. It has several match clips from Fully Loaded and Smackdown, and also feautures the big kiss angle between Lita and Matt Hardy. Superstar - An intresting chapter which includes Wrestlemania footage of Litas Wrestlemania debut, along with comments from Lita. vs. Stephanie - This covers Litas feud with Stephanie in mid 2000. It shows most of the match, along with commentery from both Stephanie and Lita. Steph disscusses a injury she almost got, and Lita talks about winning the strap/ Bumpy Road - This has lots of Survivor Series 2000 footage of Lita battling Ivory. This was when Lita got a nasty cut above her eye, but still finished the match. It has some unique footage of Lita talking to her Mum after the match, and footage of Lita and her dog at home. vs. Trish - A video package of the feud between the two divas, and highlights of the HHH/Trish vs. Rock/Lita Raw tag match. Includes comments from Trish. vs. Chyna - Short chapter which just reviews Litas match with Chyna at Judgment Day. Love and Hate - One minute music video covering her feud with Dean Malenko. Diva-Licious - Lots of Hedonism footage of the divas shoot, with lots of nice swimsuit scenes with Lita. Lita also describes how she came up with the thong sticking out of pants look. Admirers - Lita talks about her fans, and shows all the scrapbooks and merchandise she has recieved off fans. Look out for a very artistic portrait of Lita. Bright Future - Final comments from everyone, with Lita describing what she would like to acheive in the future, along with some good in ring footage of Lita. The main feature lasts around 60 minutes. Extras: Matches: Hardy Boyz and Lita vs. T & A and Trish (Fully Loaded 00) Video Packages: Home Video clips - Clips of Lita at her birthday party, with her dog and trying to milk a cow. Nice...Nice... - Musical swimsuit video of Lita. I see London - Video of Litas promotional tour in London. Spring Break - Footage of the Hardys and Lita judging a swimsuit contest. Chef,Girl,Hardys - Behind the scenes footage of Litas Chef Boyardee commercial. Freeze Frame - About fifteen pics of Lita, set to change every 10 seconds. There is roughly 80 minutes of extras. Obviously, this is a must have for Lita fans. The main feauture is great and very informative on Litas career. The extras aren't too shabby either, with over 80 minutes of extra footage. It gives a nice insight on Lita, and it is well worth adding this to your DVD library. Final Rating - Five Stars (*****) Excellent.

It Does Feel Right!,
By A Customer
This review is from: WWE: Lita - It Just Feels Right (DVD)
This is probably the best DVD ever released by the World Wrestling Federation. I am a huge fan of Lita and was afraid to purchase this for fear of WWF's history. They ruin her matches left and right so I was afraid the DVD would just be a wreck since she's not Austin (who the WWF likes a little too much). But I was so surprised when it was so well put together, covering everything from her training in Mexico all the way up to her feud with Chyna that ended at Judgment Day 2001. And the additional footage is definitely worth the money alone. Home video clips, her trip to London, snap shots, and a dozen or so matches. Some that stick are the Hardy Boyz & Lita vs. Radicalz at Armageddon, Lita vs. Dean Malenko, Lita vs. Trish in a Strap Match & in a Bra and Panties Match, and Matt & Lita vs. Saturn & Terri. So the point is, if you love Lita this DVD is a must!

Lovely Lita delivers!,

This review is from: WWE: Lita - It Just Feels Right (DVD)
Lita: It Just Feels Right is the best biographical video for a diva I have ever seen. It's much better then the one they did for Chyna and Triple H.My breakdown: The video: Who is Lita? Good descriptive overview of Lita. Especially the parts about her life before wrestling. Big Break Very informative. Contains ECW footage, her premiere, her teaming up with Essa Rios, and her break up with him to join the Hardyz. Lita Teams Up Basically what her life has been ever since joining the Hardyz and how she got extreme with her talents. Superstar Her overviews of her popularity and her appearance at Wrestlemania X-Seven (which Edge and Christian won, unfortunately.) Vs. Stephanie Her war with the McMahon/Helmsley influence, her challenges for the Women's title, and her match with Steph with The Rock as the referee. Great perspectives. Bumpy Road Her match at Survivor Series with that ... Ivory, (Which I had the "pleasure" of watching it in person.) that she lost thanks to that ... Steven Richards. Vs. Trish Her long, long rivalry with Trish, and her tag match with The Rock against Trish and Triple H. Vs. Chyna Her match at Judgment Day for the women's title against Chyna which, once again, she lost. Ironically, Chyna left the federation and the women's title wasn't around for 5 long months and was given to Trish instead. (Probably because the idiots online voted for Trish instead of Lita in the Babe of the Year tournament. Bastards.) Love & Hate Her "rivalry" with Dean Malenko, the worst Light-Heavyweight Champion ever. Diva-licious This is her segment from the Divas in Hedonish DVD/VHS. But it's shorter than the one on the actual DVD. Admirers The feedback that the fans have given to her. The art, the gifts, the poems, so on and so forth. Bright Future The video's conclusion of the red-headed diva's biography. Extra Matches: Six-Person Intergender Tag Match: Hardyz and Lita vs. T&A and Trish at Fully Loaded 2000 The climax in the rivalry of Trish and Lita. But the only thing wrong was that Lita and Trish were basically used at the match's end. Strap Match: Lita vs. Trish Good match, but the bad part is that Trish won because that ... Stephanie HAD to get involved. Six-Person Intergender Tag Match: Hardyz and Lita vs. Edge and Christian and Jacqueline Hilarious promo before the match, spectacular performance by all the competitors. Hardcore Match for the Women's Title: Lita (champ) vs. Jackie Usually, Hardcore matches and women didn't mix, but these two proved that fact wrong. VERY wrong. Lita is hot, athletic, and very tough.

Showcasing The Way She SHOULD Be Remembered,
By
This review is from: WWE: Lita - It Just Feels Right (DVD)
Before she suffered setbacks in her professional (neck injury in 2002 that forever changed her inring style) & personal life ("You Screwed Matt!"), the fact is that Lita was the one who started to turn the womens division around with her lucha libre style that you didn't see from women. Lita was the won who put the Womens division back on the map when the division was reduced to champions like Stephanie McMahon, Harvey Wippleman, & The Kat and Lita was the one who carried Trish Stratus in matches back when she was nothing more than a girl hired for just her looks before she became the women's wrestler that everyone remembers her for today. Unfortunally, all of that got overshadowed in recent years but before all of that happened, she luckly got a DVD which covers her time as the female daredevil that took the WWF by storm that, ironically, showcases her in the way that she should & wanted to be remembered when she left 5 years later.
The documentry behinds with various wrestlers & personalities giving their opinions on who Lita is before getting into her childhood of how athletic she was growing up. The story behind what attracted her to wrestling, her venture into Mexico, working independents (complete with OMEGA footage), and a summerary of her ECW career is talked about. Her big break with the WWF & how her teaming up with Essa Rios made you take notice of her is discussed along with showing their debut match where Essa won the Lightheavyweight title from Gillberg. The move from Essa Rios to the Hardy Boyz is up next with the origins of their relationship dating back to the OMEGA promotion, how they innovated the intergender tag match, and the story behind the infamous Matt Hardy/Lita kiss. Various subjects like the impact of her entrance, her invovlement at WrestleMania X7, and how important it was to her to be involved in an angle where he got assaulted by Triple H & Stone Cold were glossed her. Highlights of her matches feuds against Stephanie McMahon (RAW), Ivory (Survivor Series where she had her eye busted open), Trish Stratus, and Chyna were shown before going into her close relationships with her mother & pet dog. They story behind how her feud with Dean Malenko started to showcase her sexuality was discussed before showing highlights of discussing Lita doing various diva/magazine shoots along with the story behind her thong look & her tattoo. The documentry closes out with Lita talking about her relationship with her fans what what's in the future for her. Along with the documentry, this DVD comes with 10 bonus matches eventhough there are technically 11 of them... Lightheavyweight Champion Gillberg vs. Essa Rios - This match was shown during the documentry & was basically a quick squash with Essa (the former Papi Chulo & Agular from WrestleMania XIV) showing his lucha libre wrestling to win the championship before Lita showcased her own arial ability. w/Hardy Boyz vs. T&A & Trish Stratus - This was the opening match from Fully Loaded 2000 with had the Hardys in control for the opening minutes while Trish avoided Lita at all cost. After T&A regained some leverage with their power offense, it went back & forth before both teams with Trish finally tagging in after T&A beat down Lita. However she bounced back & got the victory for Team Xtreme before giving a vicious beating with a leather strap. Strap Match vs. Trish Stratus - This was on the next night from RAW & was real quick as the only noteworthy thing here was the referee getting hit in the eye before Stephanie McMahon interfered to help Trish win. w/Hardy Boyz vs. Edge, Christiain, Jacqueline - Nothing noteworthy here past a fast pased 5 min. match with both Jacqueline & Lita getting their shots on the guys at times. Hardcore Match vs. Jaqueline - As was typical with hardcore matches at that time, this was full of "plunder" as Dusty Rhodes likes to call it. The match was again less than 5 minutes but look out for the spot where a DDT was executed on a cookiesheet, OUCH! Bra & Panties Match vs. Trish Stratus - It's a bra & panties match that lasted around 3 minutes so you know what to expect here. Elimination Match w/Hardy Boyz vs. Radicalz - This was the opening match from Armageddon 2000 & based around the Dean Malenko/Lita feud going on at that time. The eliminations happened back to back with Terri Runnels (Saturn's manager) eventually getting involved & recieving a twist of fate that almost knocked her out of her clothes. It was left between Malenko & Lita in the end where he punished Lita before making her tap out. w/Matt Hardy vs. Saturn & Terri - A short 4 min. match where Dean Malenko interfered to cost Lita & Matt the match. vs. Dean Malenko - This was the conclusion of this feud between the two as Malenko was heavily aggressive & just too much for Lita to overcome before Matt Hardy interfered to help Lita get the victory. The bigger story here was what happened afterwards between Matt & Lita that even resulted in the perverted Jerry Lawler saying "this is a family show!" vs. Molly Holly - A short match in which Lita was only a background player to the Holly/masked ninja feud (later revealed to be Tori) that was going on at the time. Jeff Hardy vs. Big Show - This match showcased Jeff not being able to get any offense on Big Show so all 3 members of Team Xtreme had to triple team show & even do a pileup win to get the victory. Other DVD extras include various home video clips featuring various people like Hardys & Shannon Moore & Gregory "Hurricane" Helms, a video package of Lita posing at a diva shoot, a feature on her promotional trip of London, another feature on her & the Hardys hosting a spring break bikini contest, a behind the scenes look at their Chef Boyardee commercial including a cameo from TNA star "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels, and a picture slideshow. In the end, people can say this DVD would be incomplete for everything that happened after this documentry ended but I still say that this is the near perfect tribute for Lita as this was her in her prime & heavily showcased her journey to the top of the WWF. The only real negative downfall I can say here is that most of the short irrelevant matches could have been replaced with matches that were more important to her career. But besides this, if you want to know & remember Lita the way she wanted to be remembered before her career was forever changed because of her injury & personal life made public then pick this up.

This review is from: WWE: Lita - It Just Feels Right (DVD)
If you're a fan of Lita (and I definitely am), this video/DVD is a must-have. The DVD has some fun extras, including some cute home video footage, as well as some good matches. The main feature itself does a nice job and includes interviews with everyone from Lita herself to Stephane McMahon, Trish Stratus, the Hardys, and even Essa Rios. A great addition to any Lita fan's collection.

This video is a great video that I highly reccommend to any Team Xtreme fan, or any other wrestling fan. This is a great documentation of Lita's (aka Amy Dumas), rise to fame in the WWF. There is great footage of Amy's matches as well as rare footage of the Hardyz, Lita, and a few other wrestling stars. In the vid, you'll hear comments about Lita from Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, Trish Stratus, JR, Essa Rios, and the Hardyz. This is a must have!!!

I bought this tape for my 13 year old niece, a big WWF fan. I can't say I'm a fan, but after watching Lita's video, I feel more secure about her as a role model. I think she seems like a nice person, and she does good things for kids whenever she can. My niece loved every minute of it, and at last count has watched it at LEAST a dozen times!
