WWE Road to Being the Best Game on the GameBoy Advance..., December 30, 2002
By A Customer
This game is so awesome, I got this game on Christmas Day and once I the plastic off, I grabbed my GBA and put it in. There are a huge variety of game modes in this game. Although this game only has 15 characters, this game is very attractive. The characters are very recognizable. And unlike the first Road to Wrestlemania, each character has a unique moveset. For example: The Rock has his Layin' the SmackDown Punch Rush, Undertaker has the Chokeslam and the Tombstone, Triple H has his Jumping Knee Attack, Chin Crusher, and his Spinebuster. The championship mode on this game is fun, although no storylines. You can win merchandise from ShopZone by by doing special tasks. You can create a PPV, but you must make the events enjoyable not only to the fans, but...Vince McMahon! Overall, this game is a great game, I recommend this to any Pro Wrestling fan. It is a fun and enjoyable game.

Wrestlmania X8 By Harish a 10 year old, November 19, 2003
A Kid's Review
Wow!wow! What a drastic improvement from road to wrestlemania for the gba. The game has got real fighters from wrestlemania 18. Excellent graphics make this game flow. The sound is okay. But as always the main thing is the gameplay and im pleased to say it is immpressive. The wrestlers finishing moves are very realistic and there are new weapons if you choose hardcore.Something , very different from rtw (road to wrestlemania)is instead of playing a long career with passwords , you choose your title and fight just around 7 matches until you play for the title against the holder. There is a shopzone place where you can see your favourite wrestling t-shirts etc. New wrestlers including RVD (mr. monday night),Hulk Hogan (Hulkamaniak) and Booker T (Can you dig it) make the game more interesting. The match types include cage, lumberjack and a 6 man tag . King Of the Ring and Royal Rumble are also included . Very good game. I hope you have found my review helpful.

I Actually Give It 4.5 Stars...Great Game For GBA!, May 24, 2003
OK, let's be real. Of course this game isn't nearly as good as Smackdown Shut Your Mouth or the GameCube version of it. It's GAMEBOY ADVANCE! The game is great..for a GBA game. You get just 15 superstars to choose from but the facial and physical features of each person is very realistic. Their regular moves are accurate to what each person has for the most part and the moves look great when executed. The special moves are accurate...(The Rock does the Rock Bottom, Rob Van Dam does the Five Star Frog Splash, Undertaker delivers The Last Ride, etc)...and they're hard to do at first but you get the hang of it. To do the special move you press A+B at EXACTLY the same time in a tie-up. Yes, the game play itself is slow but you can expect slow-paced game play when you play GBA games. The game includes four titles (Undisputed, Intercontinental, Tag Team, and Hardcore) that you can wrestle for in championship mode...no storylines in championship modes. Except for big time superstars like Hogan and Undertaker, you have to earn respect from Vince before you can go for main titles by: winning lesser titles (hardcore, IC), competing in King of the Ring or Royal Rumble. There is tons of stuff to unlock. To get new arenas you have to create Pay Per Views that impress the fans and impress your boss, Vince McMahon. The other way to unlock stuff is with ShopZone. New Items are unlocked when: A. your PPV is a success and you get to the next one...you win DVD's, Posters, T-Shirts, stuff like that| B.You unlock new things when you win KOTR or Rroyal Rumble| C.When you complete championship mode you unlock items for the superstar you did it with. All in all, it's a great game that all fans of WWE will like once you get the hang of it. A fun thing I like to do is link up with my buddies that have this game a go head-to-head with them.
