4.0 out of 5 stars This is (almost) perfection! January 28, 2010
Format:MP3 Music|Amazon Verified Purchase
Great set of tunes overall!
I know I've been looking everywhere for a lot of these songs long before this compilation came out, and I know that I'm probably not alone. There are a couple of tracks here that make downloading this comp worth it (not to mention the price), and there are plenty of others that will have you singing right along in the gym/car/house/etc.
I'm glad Jim Johnston expanded his horizons once again and got some real bands to help him make some good themes even better. Johnston's always been a Zen master of producing memorable entrance music for the most popular WWE stars, and he hit the mark again with this one. (He's done this before, of course, with "Forceable Entry" and "Wreckless Intent", and generally, it hasn't disappointed yet.) Many of the themes have a similarity to them as far as song structure, but the bands' contributions are what make each track unique. (Besides, on TV you're only going to hear the first minute or so of the songs anyway.) Story of the Year's take on Christian's theme is just the makeover that song needed, and is one of the best. Mutiny Within destroys Evan Bourne's theme as well, and just from the first few notes my adrenaline started flowing. It's an old-school-style heavy metal classic, complete with a blazing guitar solo in the middle. I've always liked Sheamus' theme; no matter what people may think about the wrestler, you have to admit the Celtic flavor spicing up the hard rock matches his persona perfectly. "Return the Hitman" and "Crank the Walls Down" are hidden gems, with Maylene and the Sons of Disaster adding some extra oomph to a grinding mash-up of Chris Jericho's and Big Show's themes.
Of course, as with every WWE Music compilation, not every track is a winner.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best WWE Album Ever!!! July 5, 2010
By Jason
Format:MP3 Music|Amazon Verified Purchase
As a fan of WWE myself, I can honestly say this is the best album WWE has ever made, as every track has never been released before, and include the newest superstars to the business. I was really excited when I bought this, and I was not disappointed. Here's my opinion on each song:

1. It's a New Day: Now simply Ted DeBiase's theme after Legacy dissolved, this is an excellent choice to start the album off with. The song is also symbolic in this sense, as this album features "a new day" of young superstars. Even by itself, this theme is very good.
2. I am Perfection: Dolph's theme is pretty good. Not quite as good as Ted's, but still another good choice for this album.
3. I Came to Play: I was surprised at how much I liked Miz's theme better after hearing it on the album. I was also surprised at how long it is - almost 5 minutes! I definately appreciate this song more now after I've heard it by itself.
4. Just Close Your Eyes: One of the best songs on the album. Christian's theme has been released before, but not this version he's used since he returned to the WWE. It far surpasses the older version, and it is one of my favorites.
5. Return the Hitman: This one also surprised me. Every WWE fan has heard Bret Hart's theme before, so I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of this. I easily overlooked it. The theme has been modernized for when Bret returned to the WWE, and it sounds even better than before. Even though this is the longest song on the album at 5:37, it never starts getting redundant. I loved it.
6. Written in my Face: Once again, you appreciate it more now after just hearing it without seeing Sheamus use it as an entrance. Another great theme to listen to.

5.0 out of 5 stars A New Day Has Dawned In WWE January 28, 2010
Format:MP3 Music|Amazon Verified Purchase
WWE has done it again, releasing their latest compilation album of superstar entrance themes, "The Music Volume 10: A New Day". Overall, in my opinion this is WWE's best track list for an album ever, including the full entrance music for superstars such as The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, Zack Ryder, Legacy and plenty of others.

There is truly something on here that everyone could enjoy - reggaeton fans will enjoy "Oh Puerto Rico" used by Primo, dance fans will enjoy "You Can Look But You Can't Touch" used by the Bella Twins, and hard rockers will love "Crank The Walls Down", which was used by the tag team of Chris Jericho and The Big Show. There are several different types of genres and superstars represented in the track list, and picking this up for only $3.99 was an incredible deal. Take advantage of it while you can!

5.0 out of 5 stars WWE The Music Volume 10 They FInally Got It Right January 28, 2010
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
This albums is just awesome. I love 90% of the tracks on here which I couldn't really say about most of the albums that the WWE has released in the past few years. Sheamus',Bret Hart's New Theme and Christian's theme stick out the most to me and they are truly great songs. This album is great for any wrestling fan to just listen to on the way to work or work out too! I highly recommend you buy it and not to mention it's so cheap!!!!! When's the last time you paid $3.99 at an Itunes store for a full 14 track album or $8.99 for a full album at a record store? Exactly!
