Yes this DVD is rare, but pick up the Tombstone 3 disk set instead. Yeah, you get about 5 minutes of WCW footage, but besides that its nothing special.

If you are a huge Undertaker fan, like I am, then you'll love this DVD. The Undertaker is a very private person, and there's not a lot known about his private life. So, it's pretty cool that in this DVD you get to see a little of his house in Tampa, FL, as well as some of his motorcycles. There's also a some segments that include Sara (his wife) and Undertaker even shows and talks about some of his awesome tatoos. For me, the best part of the whole thing is just seeing Undertaker talking about and being himself. This DVD doesn't really get much into Undertaker's history; it more deals with his present-day "Badass" incarnation- tho there is some interesting footage of a young Undertaker wrestling as Mean Mark Callous in the beginning. Also included are some great extras, such as the first "Hell in a Cell" match against Sean Micheals. All in all, well worth the...price tag for fans of the Phenom.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's Undertaker's yard and he runs it., May 29, 2003

This review is from: WWE - Undertaker - This Is My Yard (DVD)
I thought it was a cool dvd. It has a few clips from his WCW days as 'Mean' Mark Callous. In WCW he was managed by both Paul E. Dangerously and current WWE ref, Theodore 'Teddy' Long. It shows him outside the ring and arena. It has part of his HIAC match with Mankind, Fully Loaded match with Kurt Angle, WM14 and Inferno match with Kane. Undertaker is a true locker-room leader. Comments made by Kane, Brooklyn Brawler, Paul Heyman, J.R., Matt Hardy, Edge, Earl Hebner and Howard Finkle. Jericho admits that he should be more carefull about the things he says to some of the boys in the back. The bonus featres include several of the matches named above as well as the first HIAC with HBK and his WM X-7 match with HHH. The only thing that disapionted me about the WM X-7 match was the ref being out cold for most of the brawl. I was a little shocked to find that his match with Mankind at KOTR in HIAC was not part of the bonus features. It has his fueds with HBK,Kurt Angle and Kane. The tape also includes clips from his match with Hogan at S.Series 1991. I hope the next Hogan/Undertaker match will be just the two of them, no Flair and no Vince McMahon just the two of them.

DVD Extras
vs.HBK HIAC '97
vs.Kane WM14
vs.Kane Unforgiven(Inferno match)'98
vs.Kurt Angle Fully Loaded '00
vs.Triple H WrestleMania X-7

I have always had alot of respect for the Undertaker because he changes with the times and his new Wrestle Mania is 11 and 0, with A-Train and Big Slow being the latsest of the Undertaker's Wrestle Mania victoms. Plus he is 6'10", over 300 lbs. and moves around the ring like a real athlete.

5.0 out of 5 stars WWF's best DVD to date, February 3, 2002
By
Jason from Georgia (Loganville, GA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: WWE - Undertaker - This Is My Yard (DVD)
Usually I don't buy WWF's DVD's due to lack of extra's but in this case it highlights one of the all time greats, The Undertaker.

Going into this title I didn't know what to expect. Would I see more Taker's current status or would I see the Phenom? What I got was a perfect combination of old and new. We actually get to see highlights Undertaker starting out as "Mean Mark". The video itself is outstanding with commentary by superstars such as Kurt Angel, Chris Jericho, Kane, Paul Heyman and good ol' Jim Ross. This DVD also delivers in extra's. Finally, a DVD that includes Michaels VS. Taker as well as the inferno match with Kane.

while I do indeed miss Undertaker's darker days, it's intreasting to see how he has evolved. It's also intreasting to just see Undertaker sit down and talk about his life and all that he has done. I had seen so much WCW when I was little and it wasn't until about 1991 (I was still little) that I actually began watching WWF. When I came in Undertaker and Hogan were fueding and so this DVD brings back tons of memories for yours truly. If your the least bit of an Undertaker fan then this is a really worth while DVD that is sure to please. In my view it truly does show that Undertaker is a living legend.

4.0 out of 5 stars Undertaker:This is my yard, September 22, 2001
By A Customer
The Undertaker says that the WWF is his yard and nobody dares disagree with him because for the last 10 years the undertaker has beaten every body who has got into the ring with (one time or another). So if you are an Undertaker fan i suggest you bye this video and relive you favorite moments about the man from the dark side. Or if you are a new WWf fan and you have only been following the taker for a few years i suggest you bye this video and see why the undertaker claims that the WWF is his yard. Trust me after seeing this video you wont disagree with him.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's STILL Undertaker's Yard!, January 24, 2006
This review is from: WWE - Undertaker - This Is My Yard (DVD)
I purchased the VHS version of this and being a huge Undertaker fan was happy I did! You not only get to see some highlights of Taker matches, you also get to see and hear what his co-workers and fellow superstars think of him. Undertaker is highly respected in WWE. Also you get to see him and his wife, Sara, backstage and also at home. Sara speaks briefly on the tape. The only thing that I was disappointed with is, the interview with Undertaker wasn't as broad as I would have liked. I wish more questions were answered: Who does he really like wrestling against? Who are his favorite stars to watch? Stars he didn't get along with? etc, and the interview obviously could have been longer. Other than that I was pleased with the tape. Undertaker remains my favorite superstar. No one does it better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Just barely under a 5 star rating, August 16, 2004

This review is from: WWE - Undertaker - This Is My Yard (DVD)
This DVD chronicles how the Dead Man became a WWE Icon. Ever since he came at Survivor series over a decade ago he has feuded with all the great superstars, and has beaten them. This is the story of how he started as the Phenom, and became the American Bada**.

The extras include several matches from his career, and they are all watchable, allthough some you should only watch once in a while.

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michales: This is whithout a doubt, one of the best classics ever seen in the WWE. The first ever Hell in a Cell match and it didn't dissapoint. The Undertaker dominated Shawn during most of this match, and it really started to heat up as they got out of the cell. Even the interference didn't ruin this match, allthough it was a real shocker. 10/10

Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle: This was an okay match. Kurt didn't stand a chance and it showed in the match. Funny moment when he came out on a small bike compared to Undertakers huge bike. 8/10

Undertaker vs. Kane: This was the first time Undertaker and Kane would fight, and in my opinion it was their best match up. The Undertaker's entrance was awsome with the druids holding up the torches. It was also cool when the Undertaker leaped over the top rope and crashed right onto the announce table. Awsome ending with three tombstones! 10/10

The Undertaker vs. Kane: This was the first and only inferno match so far where the entire ring was surrounded by fire. You could feel the heat just by looking at the fire. When Kane's arm caught on fire it was like a torch was lit. 10/10

The Undertaker vs. Triple H: This was an awsome match at wrestlmania 17. The ref was unconscious during most of this match which allowed them to really take it to the limit. The Undertaker even chokeslams Triple H over the side of a monitor tower. Even Triple H's sledgehammer couldn't help him. 9/10

This DVd was awsome, and the matches were worth it, so go out and buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A good look at the past, October 4, 2001
By
Owen A Conlan (Mentor on the Lake, Ohio United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: WWE - Undertaker - This Is My Yard (DVD)
I disagree with the reviewer before me, I think that this DVD is pretty good. It is one of the first DVDs to show WCW footage of when Undertaker wrestled under the name of Mean Mark. In the old WCW footage, we get to see a very young Paul Heyman and a young Jim Ross too. This DVD talks about how Taker beat Hulk Hogan for his first title, and goes through most of his charictor Changes. The thing I liked is that the people that talked about it, Jericho, Kane, JR, Heyman, and others talked as the real person. Not the charictors. The Undertaker doesn't talk about why he actually sacraficed people, because he never really did.... The extras inclue 5 matches that also has the very first Hell in a Cell with the ledgend Shawn Micheals. All in all, a great buy, weather you like the Undertaker or not.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mark Calaway On "The Undertaker", April 6, 2011
By
D.P. (California) - See all my reviews
(VINE VOICE)
Before I get started, keep in mind that I'm reviewing the VHS copy of this presentation so I don't have knowledge of anything in regards to bonus features or DVD extras (which you can find in the other reviews.)

Now this presentation of the Undertaker's career is completely different than any presentation of Undertaker past or present as this occurred during this "American Bad Ass" persona which was the closest the audience has ever gotten to the REAL man behind the character in Mark Calaway so you hear from him in a non-kayfabe/out of character way throughout the presentation. Along with getting Taker's candid thoughts on various subjects from his career, you also hear from his then-WWF peers in Jim Ross, Paul Heyman, Pat Patterson, Howard Finkel, Dallas Page, Edge, Kane, Chris Jericho, Matt Hardy, X-Pac, Kurt Angle, and Lita.

The documentary beings with Taker discussing his early career starting in Dallas back in 1986 to his run in WCW as part of the Skyscrapers tag team & the issues there that caused him to leave without having another job in place. The way he was introduced to his character from WWE leading up to his debut at the 1990 Survivor Series is discussed next before going into various elements of his character from the music to the special effects of his entrance along with who he learned from in & out of the ring. His first WWE Championship win over Hogan was discussed along with the face of how he was starting to be cheered by the fans going into that match before other talent started sharing their memories of various matches involving Taker including Taker himself speaking of the "out of body" experience he had during his Hell In A Cell match against Mankind. The run as the leader of the Ministry Of Darkness was talked about as far how it was a high & low point of his career before going into his "American Bad Ass" character with Chris Jericho going as far as to call him the "Madonna" of wrestling. Highlights of the buildup & match against Kurt Angle at Fully Loaded '00 were shown before going into his love of bikes, the importance of his wife Sara both as a character & his real life wife (at that time), and his ability to do things as a crusierweight although he's a giant. His initial feud against Kane from his debut to their physical war at WrestleMania XIV, his WrestleMania XVII match against Triple H (with Jericho having a favorite memory in regards to the entrance), Taker's undefeated streak at the event, and highlights of his 2001 feud with Stone Cold were shown & talked about before concluding the documentary on others describing the type of leader he is in the locker room & the respect he has.

The documentary last around an hour which is the average time for documentaries back around this time so they weren't able to cover or go into detail about most things that happened in Taker's career but this is still something worth going out of your way to see for the simple fact that any other WWE release in regards to Undertaker has been match anthologies without Taker himself speaking on subjects to keep "kayfabe" about his character so with this being the only presentation where you not only hear from Taker but get to know the man behind the character then I would add this to the collection if you already haven't.

This review is from: WWE - Undertaker - This Is My Yard (DVD)
i have been following the undertaker ever since he started in the wcw as mean mark callous as part of the skyscrapers. he has evolved into the most respected superstar ever. this dvd is full of clips and intervies from past and present opponents. 5 bonus matches from kane to shawn michaels, the game and kurt angle. if u have any interest in the undertaker what soever i would buy this dvd. it gives u a look into his personal life, about his love for his bikes and his wife sara. there is a funny part where he shows her how to do an armbar and makes him tap out. dont wait buy this movie and u wont regret it
