5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST UNFORGIVEN PPV EVER!
On September 18, 2005 w/the success of VENGEANCE 2005 this is another AWESOME RAW PPV from 2005

WWE Unforgiven was AWESOME and this was better than all of the other Unforgiven PPV's that I have ever seen.

I mean you had 8 Matches, 3 Championship Matches, 2 Tag Team Matches, lot of Grudge Matches, and you even had that Unforgiving Steel Cage...

I'll be fair this time. WWE honestly seems like they're either running out of ideas, or running out of talent, which would be their own fault by the way. It's like they're not even trying to please a wrestling audience. Now some of the "Entertainment" is pretty funny at times, but you start to notice that's almost the entire show, and very little wrestling. And plus...

5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST UNFORGIVEN PPV EVER!, June 24, 2006
This review is from: WWE Unforgiven 2005 (DVD)
On September 18, 2005 w/the success of VENGEANCE 2005 this is another AWESOME RAW PPV from 2005

WWE Unforgiven was AWESOME and this was better than all of the other Unforgiven PPV's that I have ever seen.

I mean you had 8 Matches, 3 Championship Matches, 2 Tag Team Matches, lot of Grudge Matches, and you even had that Unforgiving Steel Cage Match, plus for the 1st time ever you had the LIVE PPV @ the Ford Center in Jim Ross's Hometown of Oklahoma City, OK, I mean what more could you ask for.

and now, here are my thoughts:

Ric Flair vs. Carlito for the WWE Intercontinental Championship-This was an AWESOME way to start the show w/Flair winning the I-C Gold for the very 1st time, and becoming the oldest I-C Champion and the oldest Triple Crown Winner in WWE History.

DIVA Tag Action Trish & Ashley vs. Victoria & Torrie w/Candice-This was a pretty good match, Victoria looking very sexy and strong and she put a good hurtin' on Ashley, but Trish gets the win for her team w/the Chick Kick, Trish still remains undefeated @ Unforgiven w/a 4-0 record, but what's up w/Torrie bailing on her partner? I don't understand that.

Big Show vs. Snitsky-Big Grudge Match-Another great grueling match, but @ the end Big Show wins w/the chokeslam and hitting Snitsky over the head w/the ring bell for payback, WOW!

Shelton Banjamin vs. Kerwin White (Chavo Guerrero)-2 former SD! WWE Tag Team Champions, they've faced each other before in Tag Team Matches, but this was 1-on-1, Shelton picks up an easy win w/the T-Bone Suplex, another win for the 3x I-C Champ.

Matt Hardy vs. Edge w/Lita-Steel Cage Grudge Match-Of course me being a Cage Match Fanatic, This my friends is what stole the show, I mean Edge & Hardy FINALLY settled their differences in the Cage, w/Hardy giving Lita the Twist of Fate, he also gave Edge the biggest Leg Drop off the Top of the Cage and got the V for Victory, I give this match 5 Stars.

Cade & Murdoch vs. Hurricane Helms and Rosey-RAW World Tag Team Titles-a pretty good match, but @ the end the 2 Cowboys picks up the win.

HBK Shawn Michaels vs. The Masterpiece Chris Masters-Special Challenge Match-HBK proved that he is INDEED The Showstopper, Masters gave him a great match, but @ the end it was the Sweet Chin Music that got HBK the victory, another BIG win by the 3x WWE Triple Crown Winner HBK.

John Cena vs. Kurt Angle-WWE Championship-These 2 put on one heck of a performance, but the ending was kind of premature w/a DQ on Cena, but Bischoff and Angle suffered the FU from Cena, and a good way to end the show.

Also Ric Flair partied All Night w/the ladies in his Limousine and Lilian Garcia the woman w/a beautiful singing voice, introduced the legendary ZZ TOP, prior to the Big Show/Snitsky Match.

also there were a couple of extras on the DVD, one has Maria Interviewing ZZ Top and it was a short one, and ZZ TOP said to Maria that "Everybody's crazy about a sharped dressed girl". That was so cute when Maria smiled.

and another extra one there was the Wild West 8-Man Tag Team from RAW the night after Unforgiven John Cena, Big Show, HBK, and Matt Hardy vs. Kurt Angle, Snitsky, The Masterpiece, and Edge, it was an awesome match, but @ the end it was Big Show dominating the match and hitting the Choke Slam on Edge and everyone did a Gang Pile for the 3-Count, a nice photo finsh.

This is an AWESOME DVD and if you didn't see it, then I strongly recommend that you get this DVD, you are going to love it, and the theme to UNFORGIVEN Calling by Taproot is an awesome song, and just so it happens that I have both the Unforgiven DVD and the Taproot CD Blue Sky Research.

Vengeance 2005, Unforgiven 2005, and Taboo Tuesday 2005 are truly Must Haves for your DVD collection, they are awesome.

This review is from: WWE Unforgiven 2005 (DVD)
I'll be fair this time. WWE honestly seems like they're either running out of ideas, or running out of talent, which would be their own fault by the way. It's like they're not even trying to please a wrestling audience. Now some of the "Entertainment" is pretty funny at times, but you start to notice that's almost the entire show, and very little wrestling. And plus everything is very predictable. At the rate WWE is going, a "Main Eventer" can really only have about a 6 to 8 year run. Why? They don't follow wrestling tradition...meaning, they don't expose their "bottom guys" and give them a chance(by the script). They just put em' heat or velocity, which like no one watches. And that's one of the reasons why the titles have absoluty no value anymore. And oh yes they do need a new champ?,But who are they gonna give the title to? This where only showcasing the "big names" comes back to bite WWE in the butt. And you can't keep asking guys like HBK to be the champ and head the company, or bring value back to the title. Those guys are simply there to put the young guys over. But no one will believe it when it happens because there's way too much comedy and hollywood production going on. And for that,WWE fans will never be as loyal as ECW or TNA fans in the end.

Now as for TNA, will they really ever put WWE out of buisness? NO! There just like ECW; They're not really meant to be in Madison Square Garden, which is not a bad thing at all. And as far as I'm concerned, Christopher Daniels, A.J. Styles, and Petey Williams are a lot better than most of what WWE is putting out there. Also a few of their paper-views were way better that WWE's. However, TNA's regular shows are pretty much crap. All in all, I've been a wrestling fan for 16 years now, and I'm just trying not to loose faith.

4.0 out of 5 stars WWE Unforgiven 2005, July 2, 2006
This review is from: WWE Unforgiven 2005 (DVD)
1. Intercontinental Title Match: Carlito (c) vs. Ric Flair
Good way to start the show, these two big personalities collide in a very entertaining match. Flair proves that he can still have good matches and win titles at his age, and the crowd really gets behind him. Also, Flair finally hits a move off the tope rope! The crowd goes nuts for that. Overall a good opener, gets the crowd very excited for the show. 7/10

2. Trish Stratus & Ashley Massaro vs. Torrie Wilson & Victoria
Standard women's tag match, skip this, it isn't worth your time. 4/10

3. Big Show vs. Snitsky
Going into this, I thought this would be painfully boring. It isn't as slow as I imagined, but it is quite obvious that Big Show carries the entire match. Snitsky is an absolutely horrendous wrestler, but Big Show does a pretty good job making up for it, and he actually makes this one relatively entertaining. Worth a watch, but I wouldn't go back to this one. 5.5/10

4. Shelton Benjamin vs. Kerwin White
Kerwin White is Chavo Guerrero's attempt at a "typical middle class white man" gimmick. While hilariously awful, it limits Chavo somewhat and doesn't allow him to have the good match that him and Shelton should have had. This match isn't bad, but not much happens here, and Shelton picks up the easy win. Take a look at this one once, if just to see Chavo drive a golf cart to the ring, wearing a sweater with bleached blonde hair. 5/10

5. Steel Cage Match: Matt Hardy vs. Edge
Finally, these two get the time and the stipulation that allows them to truly shine. This match is a classic Steel Cage match, and after a poor confrontation at Summerslam, this is quite welcome. This fued was dying for a brutal stipulation, and thats what the Steel Cage provided. Not only does this match have great, breathtaking spots, but its also very well wrestled. Matt Hardy and Edge both prove here that they are deserving of the 20 or so minutes that they are given, and they truly make the best of them. The crowd is on their feet nearly the entire time, cheering on these two for wonderful performances, and rightfully so. This is just an excellent match, with a fantastic ending that I won't spoil. 9.25/10

6. World Tag Team Championship Match: The Hurricane & Rosey (c) vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch
This is rather boring, as neither team is anything special in the ring. The match is uneventful to say the least, and isn't worth your time, other then the one spot where Trevor Murdoch DDT's Hurricane off of the ring apron straight onto the ringside floor. I spoiled that spot for you, simply because you shouldn't have to watch the rest of the match waiting for it. Overall, this is lame and unexciting, skip if you've already seen the viscious DDT. 4/10

7. Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Masters
I was fairly suprised by this, but then I remembered that HBK was in this one for a reason. The Showstopper and the Masterpiece have a good, back and forth match here. Shawn makes Masters look pretty good, and puts on yet another great performance himself. They gave this one just the right amount of time, and this match has an excellent pace. Great ending to a good match, don't pass this up. 7.5/10

8. WWE Championship Match: John Cena (c) vs. Kurt Angle
Angle and Cena have had many matches, but this just may be their best. These two bring a great amount of intensity to the table in this one, and make the whole atmosphere very exciting. They really work well together, and put on a great title bout. Other then the ending, this match is probably one of Cena's best matches in the WWE to date. Both men put on great performances on this one, and make this one a great match other then the DQ ending. Of course, the ref ringing the bell doesn't stop these two from fighting, because they continue until one of them ends up through an announce table (I won't spoil it for you, watch what happens). Overall, a very good match with a slightly annoying finish. 8.5/10

Unforgiven 2005 is yet another great single brand PPV from 2005, as most matches deliver. Some are lackluster, but the uppercard is solid. There are four good matches that make this worth your time.

Match of the Night: The Steel Cage match: Matt Hardy vs. Edge. These two have a very brutal and very entertaining match, with excellent pacing and wonderful spots, as well as good wrestling. This is everything you could have asked for from these two, and they put on a great show. Don't miss this, this is one of the better matches of the year.

5.0 out of 5 stars THIS IS THE PPV OF THE YEAR!, December 8, 2005
This review is from: WWE Unforgiven 2005 (DVD)
I love this ppv so much. It had great matches.
IC Champ Carlito vs. Ric Flair- Good opener, it's good to see Flair as a Babyface again. Plus it's really great to see Flair become the IC champ. This match shouldn't have been an opener, it should have happened later that night. But still a good match. Winner and new IC Champ- Ric Flair
Divas Tag Match: Trish & Ashley vs. Torrie & Victoria- Pretty good for a divas match. Wow Ashley sure can wrestle. - Winners Trish and Ashley.
Big Show vs. Snitsky- This was a funny match. I liked it when Snitsky suplexes the Big Show. Show gets his revenge by hitting Snitsky with the ring Bell. Winner- Big Show
Shelton Benjamin vs. Kerwin White- This match turned up better then I thought. That whole K-white gimmick was pretty bad for Chovo.- Winner- Shelton Benjamin
Steel Cage- Matt Hardy vs. Edge- BEST MATCH OF THE NIGHT. This had a great story between Hardy, Edge and Lita. Edge bleed like hell. The best part is when Hardy did the leg drop off the cage. This story should have went on longer. This was the one of the best bouts on RAW next to HHH and HBK. Winner- Matt Hardy
Tag Champs- The Super Heros vs. The Cowboys- This was a boring match to me. It was more of a handicap with Rosey getting his ass kicked. Winners and New Champs- The Cowboys
Shawn Micheals vs. Chris Masters- This was the 2nd best match. Finally, Masters wrestles some real wrestlers. It was funny to see how Shawn Micheals survived the Master lock. Winner- Shawn Micheals
WWE Champ John Cena vs. Kurt Angle- I don't know why everyone hates Cena. Every time someone becomes WWE champ, everyone hates that champ. Like everyone wanted to see JBL lose the title and he did to Cena, now everyone hates Cena. Now the match was great. It would have been better if Cena didn't get DQ. It was great to see him give an FU to Angle and Bishoff. Winner by DQ- Kurt Angle (Cena retains)
This PPV was the "PPV OF THE YEAR".

4.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected, October 22, 2005
This review is from: WWE Unforgiven 2005 (DVD)
I never thought that this pay per view was going to be bad but it did exceed my expectations and became something I would highly reccomend.

IC championship Ric Flair Vs Carlito(Champ)

6/10 Not a bad opener but I think the wrong person won.

Divas match

N/A I'm not going to rate this match as I did not watch it. I'm sorry but in my opinion divas are the main problem with WWE today. I do not pay good money to watch talentless bimbos get a cheap pop.

Big Show Vs Snitsky

7/10 Surprise of the night as this one turns out to be better than expected. A good spot involving Snitsky and a Back suplex(that looked sore) and an interesting aftermath involving a bell.

Kerwin White Vs Shelton Benjamin

7/10 Great match between two class wrestlers. I must be the only person in the world who likes the Kerwin White gimmick. If everybody just played themselves wrestling would be dull. I'm going to knock a point of though because in the middle of the match Kerwin starts to work on benjamins leg. While this makes sense for him to do it isn't very good for a fan because it means we don't get to see any cool high-flying moves.

Steel cage match Matt Hardy vs Edge

10/10 Match of the night as far as I'm concerned. This was brutal. It also had everything you could ask for. Wrestling,Brawling, high flying, weapons.

World tag team championship Cade and Murdoch Vs Hurricane and Rosey(Champs)

7/10 Another very good (but short match). A sick bump on the head to Hurricane(Which had me turning my head). Some good double teaming by Cade and Murdoch and Rosey does quite well on his own whilst Hurricane is decapitised.

Shawn Michaels Vs Chris Masters

8/10 Cynics of Masters have finally been silenced as he shows that he can get it done in the ring. Of course it helps when Michaels is your opponent.

WWE Championship Kurt Angle Vs John Cena(Champ)

7/10 Hate to be harsh on this match as I am a big fan of Kurt Angle but Cena once again proves who terrible he is in the ring. Angle once again had to carry him through the match. it was the same old Cena match. Angle does all the wrestling then Cena makes a comeback at the end and does the few moves he knows how to do. 7 points for Angles great job but Cena was plain pathetic.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Very Good PPV (by WWE standards), November 21, 2005
By
Northlander (The Northlands, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: WWE Unforgiven 2005 (DVD)
Although there are smaller federations out there with a better product than WWE (TNA, ROH, etc.), Unforgiven 2005 was a good show nonetheless, and is actually one of my favorites (and I own about 40 WWE pay-per-views). It wasn't the best RAW PPV of 2005 (that was Vengeance), but it certainly wasn't the worst, either (New Year's Revolution). I'd say it almost rivals Backlash in terms of quality and entertainment, which is pretty good. So let's get started. (Matches are rated out of 5 stars.)

1. IC TITLE: Ric Flair vs. Carlito (c)
Never thought I'd be seeing something like this, but it really happened. Not only does Flair put on a great performance for his age and succeed in doing a top-rope move for (maybe) the first time in 22 years, he also wins his first-ever Intercontinental Championship from Carlito and parties all night long. I'll spare you any further details about that...but it was the win that counted.
WINNER: Ric Flair. STARS: **1/2.

2. Victoria and Torrie Wilson w/Candace vs. Trish Stratus and Ashley Massaro
Disastrous women's matches are par for the WWE's course, as we all know...but this one was actually sort of watchable, if only because we got to see Ashley from some, uh, very interesting angles...and Trish pulled off some great moves in there when she finally got tagged in. I'm glad she's back.
WINNERS: Trish and Ashley. STARS: *1/2.

3. Big Show vs. Gene Snitsky
Definitely the worst match of the event (besides the divas thing), but still okay. Basically an exchange of big-man power moves, but they didn't drag it out too long, and at least it ended right.
WINNER: Big Show. STARS: *1/2.

4. Kerwin White vs. Shelton Benjamin
Chavo was burying his career in this gimmick; basically, he dyed his hair blonde and pretended to be a middle-class white guy. But he still put on a pretty good match with Shelton; the spinning headscissors was poetry in motion. Shelton takes it with the T-Bone Suplex. What happened to this guy's push?
WINNER: Shelton Benjamin. STARS: **1/2.

5. CAGE MATCH: Edge w/Lita vs. Matt Hardy
A very intense feud going into this one, and it was about time WWE showed Matt some respect. I wouldn't say it was match of the year, like some people claimed, but it was quite a battle and pretty much stole the undercard. After lots of very realistic and painful brawling, Matt gets the win with an incredible legdrop off the top of the cage, something I've never seen before in my life. WINNER: Matt Hardy. STARS: ***1/2.

6. WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES: Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch vs. Hurricane and Rosey (c)
Finally they actually DO something with the tag titles...they'd been on the superheroes since Backlash. Fairly short, but pretty good anyway. Murdoch gives Hurricane a sick DDT on the floor, so he and Cade can wear down Rosey. A groggy Hurricane makes a mistake by tagging himself back in, and is quickly finished off.
WINNERS: Cade and Murdoch. STARS: ***.

7. Chris Masters vs. Shawn Michaels
Surprisingly good. Michaels carries Masters almost flawlessly in a great contest with some real suspense. In the end, Michaels does not break the Master Lock hold, but he does sidestep it and put Masters' lights out with Sweet Chin Music for the win.
WINNER: Shawn Michaels. STARS: ***1/2.

8. WWE TITLE: Kurt Angle vs. John Cena (c)
These two have always been great together, and tonight is no exception. Cena had been champ too long, and even fans in the arenas were getting tired of him...Angle had an equal amount of support from the fans here, even though he was the bad guy. A very good main event here, except for the ending; Eric Bischoff interfered, and Cena got frustrated and hit Angle with the title belt, getting himself DQed. He then FU'ed Bischoff in the ring, FU'ed Angle through the Spanish announce table, and walked back up the ramp with the title. Disappointing ending or not, this match delivered.
WINNER: Kurt Angle by DQ; Cena retains title. STARS: ***1/2.

All in all, this PPV was slightly above average. Which is pretty darn good for WWE, these days.

(NOTE: Also, it'd be nice if certain immature individuals could stop spamming the WWE product review pages with infantile arguments, obvious bias, and uninformed predictions. If you want to whine about which WWE "brand" is better, go to the PW Forums.

4.0 out of 5 stars Unforgiven one of the better 2005 PPV offerings., July 30, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: WWE Unforgiven 2005 (DVD)
Unforgiven 2005

Ric Flair vs Carlito (c) - Intercontinental Championship
Solid opening match, including the moment we've all been waiting for: Ric Flair finally hitting a move off the top rope! The crowd was really into it and the wrestlers delivered. 6/10

Torrie Wilson & Victoria vs Trish Stratus & Ashley Massaro
Good opening minutes when Trish and Victoria were involved, started to fall apart when Ashley got involved but she wasn't bad for someone so green. It was smart to have Victoria and Trish do most of the heavy lifting in the match, but even with that, this match is still pretty forgettable. 3/10

The Big Show vs Snitsky
This match isn't pretty. Show is one of my favorite big men of all time, but this one was pretty dull and boring. Snitsky, that WAS your fault. 3/10

Kerwin White vs Shelton Benjamin
Never cared for the Kerwin White gimmick, but Chavo always delivers and this match is no exception. Good back and forth action that you would expect from these two. This match deserved five more minutes but it was a good high energy WWE match. 6/10

Edge w/Lita vs Matt Hardy - Steel Cage Match
After the very disappointing match at Summerslam, these two went out and stole the show with a great cage match. Matt and Edge have so much experience together, if given time they can deliver some great stuff. This was the definite highlight of the feud and it probably should have been the blow off match. 8/10

Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs Hurricane & Rosey (c) - World Tag Team Championship
Probably would have been better if the best wrestler of the four wasn't out for most of the match but the spot causing the "injury" wasn't bad. The only good thing I can say about this match is that it set in motion Helm's heel turn. Skip it. 3/10

Chris Masters vs Shawn Michaels
Exceeds every expectation, Shawn shows just why he's one of the best by leading Masters into the best performance of his career. 7/10

Kurt Angle vs John Cena (c) - WWE Championship
A very solid bout that is slightly ruined by it's ending, it's still easy to say that this might be Cena's best bout of his career at this point from a pure wrestling stand point. Still though, this would have been an 8 had it not been for the DQ ending. 7/10

Unforgiven 2005 is an above average PPV, 5 of 8 worth watching once, three of which are definitely re-watchable. Unforgiven 2005 gets a solid 7/10.

Bonus Match
John Cena, Matt Hardy, Shawn Michaels, The Big Show vs Kurt Angle, Edge, Chris Masters, Snitsky
This was a very entertaining 8 man tag from the following night's Raw. A lot of action and a fun finish, a very good bonus compared to the 4 - 5 minute Heat matches we're accustomed to. 7/10

4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Unforgiven card, August 31, 2008
This review is from: WWE Unforgiven 2005 (DVD)
Unforgiven was a fantastic ppv. This ppv started and continued some good feuds and also had some very great matches. The ppv was very well put together.

1. Intercontinental Title
Ric Flair vs. Carlito
This was a great opener. It did everything what an opener is supposed to do, it got the crowd pumped for the ppv. Carlito trys to work on the arm of Flair. It had a nice little brawl on the outside. The crowd really went nuts when Flair pulled off a successful move off the top rope. Also had a good finish to the match. 3.75/5

2. Divas Tag Match
Trish Stratus & Ashley vs. Victoria & Torrie Wilson w/ Candice Michelle
This tag match really impressed me. It was quite good. Victoria and Torrie isolates Ashley in this one and teaching her what wrestling is all about. Ashley does however gets thrown to the outside very roughly to say the least by Torrie. Trish had a good showing. Trish pulled off a good counter at the end to score with the chick kick. 3.25/5

3. Big Show vs. Gene Snitzky
Ugly match but this too was quite a good match with these two big men. Good impact moves and Snitzky even hits a good looking back suplex on Show. The after match assault with the ring bell added more to the match. 3.5/5

4. Shelton Benjamin vs. Kerwin White (Chavo Guerrero)
A good athletic match up here. They pulled off good counters and reversals. Some nice holds were used too. Shelton pulled off a great counter into the t-bone for the win. 3.5/5

5. Steel Cage Match
Matt Hardy vs. Edge w/ Lita
This is defiantely one of the most personal feuds ever in the WWE. It went a little slow at first but picked up as the match progressed. Hardy hit Edge with some hard right fists. Hardy takes some hard shots to the back of his head from the steel cage. Edge really then works on the head of Hardy shortly after. Both men hit some high risk moves including a powerbomb & a side effect from the top rope. Edge gets pretty bloody here. Edge also speared Hardy into the cage. The fans was really into this match. Great end with the leg drop off the top of the cage onto edge. 4.5/5

6. World Tag Team Titles
Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs. Hurricane & Rosey
Average tag match. A few double teaming here and there. Hurricane takes a hard ddt on the floor by Murdoch which took Hurricane out. The match pretty much turned into a handicap match after that but still a decent tag match. 3.25/5

7. Chris Masters vs. Shawn Michaels
From the start Masters goes for the masterlock and hbk got in good counters to get out of those situations. They had a good brawl on the outside. Masters even powerbombs hbk into the ring post on the outside. Masters works on the back of hbk. Masters also stays in control for the majority of the match and just punishing hbk's back. I was surprised when Masters used Lex Luger's torture rack on Michaels. Great closing counters at the ending of the match. Great match. Probably Masters best match in the WWE. 4.75/5

8. WWE Championship
Kurt Angle vs. John Cena
This is also one of Cena's better matches he has fought in. Angle of course was just phenomenal and just applying submission holds on Cena. Cena also wrestled this match which was great to see. It did became a slugfest between the two at some points in the match. Angle hit cena with some good suplexes. Angle pulled off some good counters and reversals to cena's moves. A lot of close near pin falls. The dq was only to continue the rivaly and the brawl after the match & the FU through the announce table was pretty good. Good way to end the night and to continue the rivaly. 4/5

This is one of the best Unforgiven ppvs ever so I recommend on picking this up.

Benjamin vs. Kerwin
Actually quite a lot better than expected and had some good spots, namely the "tilt the whirl head scissors" by Chavo and the ending by Benjamin
RATING: 73/100

Big Show vs. Snitsky
Nothing special at all here, just short and a good choke slam to end it
RATING: 60/100

Diva Tag match
A good diva match that surprised me and also provided good eye candy which I suppose helped this along
RATING: 70/100

Hardy vs. Edge
An absolutely tremendous cage match that really starts getting good from the 5min mark, after that there is nearly everything a good cage match should have and also a superb ending also assisted this into the mid nineties.
RATING: 95/100

Michaels vs. Masters
Good match that I didn't really know what to expect from it, as it was the first time I had seen Masters in a 1 on 1 match. His power was good, HBK's reversals were excellent and the ending sequence of moves was a very good ending to this match
RATING: 83/100

Carlito vs. Flair
Unfortunately a very bland match that had nothing going for it whatsoever; two sub-average competitors that lived up to that name. I suppose its just a good thing that Carlito is no longer champ
RATING: 65/100

Superheros vs. Cade & murdoch
Decent tag match with about 2 good spots. The one was the DDT to the outside of the ring which was quite impressive and this along. Just managed the score a nothing fuller which I believe that tag title matches shouldn't be.
RATING: 67/100

Cena vs. Angle
A match that had it all except for 2 things - good length and good match ending. Other than these 2 faults the match had excellent psychology and I was really into the brawl vs. wrestle idea, it went very well and kept me on the edge of my seat right up until the untimely end of the match
RATING: 87/100

75% - A ppv that was very disappointing until Shelton Benjamins match, that match seemed to shoot the show off into some great matches that really were awesome. However the beginning and some of the middle had some very disappointing matches that could have been ditched to make the main event longer. On the whole - the great really does outshine the poor here
