This album isn't that bad. I use to like it alot better when they contained entrance music that you are accustomed to hearing, rather than ones that are going to be played after the album's release. When the old WWE "The Music" albums came out, the majority of the songs on there were ones that you could listen to and immediately idenfity who's music it was. I don't like the idea of having to read the back of the cover to see what I'm listening to. I'm just old school I guess...

Wreckless Production,
By Wes Michaels (Johnston, RI United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: WWE Wreckless Intent (Audio CD)
If you're a true fan of the wrestling entrance themes and especially of "good music", this CD is definately a steer-clear of. Although there are some rather nice tunes, the majority of the disc is mostly filler by ne'er-do-wells, neophytes, and a few veterans trying for another big hit.
The first thing I noticed as a recurring theme throughout the CD was the abysmal quality of these particular songs. I do not know who is responsible for the CD's mastering or re-mastering, but whoever it is should be fired. Audible throughout quite a few songs are clicks and pops from the high noise level they seem to have been recorded at, in and of itself a big no-no. Most noticable during Brand New Sin's "Crank It Up", around 1:35 into "Burn In My Light" from Mercy Drive, and the quality errors rear their ugly heads in "Fury of the Storm" and "I Walk Alone" as well. In 2006, a multi-billion dollar corporation simply has no logical and/or acceptable reason not to have the highest of quality in their production. For that reason alone, this couldn't get a high rating from me. I've heard cassette tapes that had superior sound, and yes I've checked several CD's from friends as well to ensure it wasn't one poor copy. Inexcusable! The songs themselves can impress, but the diversity of the bands makes the CD difficult to totally enjoy. For the metal crowd, a smattering of Motorhead and Killswitch Engage, while the hip-hop crowd can enjoy Silkk the Shocker, Three 6 Mafia, and Desiree Jackson. A hybrid rock-country beat surrounds the remake of "Crank It Up" by Brand New Sin, and alternative rock fans will probably like Zebrahead's "With Legs Like That" and Eleventh Hour's "A Girl Like That". There's even a Latin hip-hop offering from Kaballon entitled "Quien Soy Yo(Who I Am)", and the hybrid rap-rock band P.O.D throws in some Spanish to record "Booyaka 619", a remake of Rey Mysterio's theme. So while there is something for nearly everybody, there isn't always an abundance of tunes in that particular category. I found quite a few to fall flat, but the CD to me was saved by the aggressive Killswitch Engage's "This Fire Burns", easily my favorite. I also enjoyed the actual version of "Burn In My Light" by Mercy Drive, used by Randy Orton. As far as an overall grade goes, there are some memorable tunes (KE, Motorhead), some decent (Theory of a Dead Man, Shadows Fall), and some intolerable (Homebwoi, Kaballon) although I'm sure many will disagree on the exact choices. That's the problem: The entire CD seems to have been made to please everybody, but you should know by now it is impossible! I preferred the seperation of "Aggression", the WWE's offering back when they remained WWF as the rap/hip-hop alternative, and "Forceable Entry", which was mostly heavy metal and hard rock. Some of these songs are actual theme songs, some of these have been used just to promote the CD, others probably will be used as wrestler themes full time or have already been used once (Randy Orton's use of "This Fire Burns" on SmackDown several months before this CD release) but overall, you can't please everybody and when you try, you get an eclectic collection that generally pleases you somewhat but leaves you wanting more so the next genre can take over. Poor production, a few very questionable choices, and a lack of tracks (51 minutes for 15 songs?) outweigh the good. I'm giving this two stars, mostly from the production aspect. I have to agree with Aranash on the review with his comments on specific songs and Brinsmaid about how this is the worst CD they have put out yet, although Anthology's chopped up songs and horribly mastered Disc 1 ranks up there. By now, however, we all should know better than to expect something special from Johnston and friends!

Don't know what they're talking about.
1: Stop calling Desiree Jackson's song Candice's theme. It's not. It's Krystal's theme. Candice's theme is that "Let Me Show You What Love Is". I know the CD case may reference it as Candice's, but it's not. 2: 3-6 Mafia was always wack, not just on this CD. 3: Silkk The Shocker's song is decent FOR HIS STYLE. No, I don't know why it was included on this CD either, but it's a decent song based on how he raps. Now, that said, I like: HHH - King of Kings: this is just an awesome song for HHH. I don't like the song otherwise, but it fits when watching him walk down the aisle. Too bad DX makes it where we won't hear it any more. Rey Mysterio: Sounded better when he did it himself. This one sounds too erratic. Orton: Excellent, but I still think he should have Evolution's theme as his own. It fit his arrogance better. Batista: I liked the instrumental old version better BUT I like the new version for the new Batista. It fits him as a top tier superstar. Not by itself though. Coach: Now this song I like. Not because it fits him, but because the beat is hot.

This was one of the best WWE albums of all time with only one complete stinker.
1.) I walk Alone by Saliva It has a good heavy metal beat by one of my all time favorites 4.5/5 2.) Burn in my Light by Mercy Drive It was a good song, but a bit remixed for the worse. Not a bad song by any means, but I didn't want that. 4/5 3.) Hard Hittin' by Homebwoi Why do people hate this song, sure Coach sux, but this song is pretty neat. 3.5/5 4.) Crank it Up by Brand New Sin Great song! This should be Big Show's permanent theme song. I really liked the style of slow rock in this song. 4.5/5 5.) Holla by Desiree Jackson Remember when I said one stinker, well this was it! This song absoulutly blows!! 0/5 6.) A girl like that by Eleventh Hour I was expecting much from this song, but it was actually really good. A well earned 4/5 7.) Quien Soy Yo by Kabillion Oh yeah, this one sucked too. I thought WWE would realize by now, SPANISH SONGS SUCK. 0.5/5 8.) Deadly Game by Theory of a Deadman WOW! What a great song. I was looking forward to this song and it did not disapoint. A rare 5/5! 9.) I'm Cominn' by Sikk the Shocker Ehh! I was not crazy about this song. Rap mixed with rock, not my style. Still not terrible though. 2/5 10.) Fury of the Storm by Shadows Fall RVD said he loved this song and I can see why. Great Heavy Metal song that gets you pumped up listening to it. 4.5/5 11.) Some Bodies Gonna Get It by Three 6 Mafia The best gansta rap song on here. I am not a huge fan of rap, but this was cool. 3.5/5 12.) With Legs Like That by Zebrahead A decent song, but it did not interest me. 2/5 13.) This Fire Burns by Killswitch Engage OH YEAHHHH!!!!!! The Best Song Award goes to THIS SONG!! Amazing metal that turns into regular rock. An easy 5/5 14.) Bookyaka 619 by P.O.D. MAN O MAN back to back great songs! This is a remix that is for the better. I will not spoil the song, but listen to it. A perfect 5/5 15.) Kings of Kings by Motorhead A good job by the metal gods, Motorhead. I thought this would be the best, but it wasn't. Still a good song though. 3.5/5. Well, thanks for taking the time to read my reviews. If you liked it please click yes if not click no. Thanks P.S. Buy this album when you get the chance.

Wreckless Intent Review.,
This review is from: WWE Wreckless Intent (Audio CD)
Yesterday I just bought myself a copy of the latest WWE CD "WWE Wreckless Intent" The CD is basically if "Forceful Entry" and that rap CD that WWE did had a baby and this baby's name is "Wreckless Intent".
Breakdown of all the tracks on the CD: 1. "I Walk Alone" by Saliva (Batista) Honestly this was the weakest Saliva has ever sounded to me. As an edited cut/pasted WWE theme for Batista it sounds great. As a stand alone hit. Bleh! 2. "Burn In My Light" by Mercy Drive (Randy Orton) You have to think the reason they are on the CD is because Mercy Drive tried to sue the WWE or not. I know they weren't mentioned on "WWE Day of Reckoning 2" for theme songs. Anywho! This along with another song on the CD was the reason why I bought it. Don't care if some ppl say this songs sucks but this is a kick ass song. Orton may be a douche but his theme rules on so many levels. 3. "Hard Hittn'" by Homebwoi (Coach) Yes Coach has a theme. Why? No idea. One of the 5 Rap songs on the CD. And this one is ALL Bass. I swear I couldn't ever hear what the guy was singing about. This is probably something I'll hear some wannabe pulling up next to me looking all cool. BLEH! 4. "Crank It Up" by Brand New Sin (Big Show) Basically it's their version of Big Tubby's theme. Nothing Original. But this time Brand New Sin made this version almost like Kevin Nash's Diesel's theme. All blues-sey. Usually I don't like Big Tubby's theme song but this is a pretty kickin' song. 5. "Holla" by Desiree Jackson (Candice Michelle) The 2nd Rap Song on the CD. This one is pretty good. Sounds more like something you can hear in a club and you can dance to. Or in a strip club none the less. Not bad, not bad at all. 6. "A Girl Like That" by Eleventh Hour (Torrie Wilson) Kind of a borderline song between pop and rock. Either who it's still somewhat enjoyable and a surprise for me.. 7. "Quien Soy Yo (Who I Am)" by Kaballon (Carito) Rap Song number 3 here. Pretty eh here from time to time. This might be a song that might grow on me in the future. Also I'm betting that this will be Carlito's new theme in the future. It sounds perfect for him 8. "Deadly Game" by Theory Of A Deadman I know musicians are trying to make their voice unique and individual. But when you sound like Nickelback I MEAN COME ON! The song is not that bad but major marks down because...they sound like NICKELBACK!!! 9. "I'm Comin" by Silkk The Shocker No. 4 in the Rap Song Department. And so far it's the only one that I like. Silkk still does the usual typical rap thing by saying how much of a man he is. But this is a WWE CD so I can let that pass...for now. 10. "Fury Of The Storm" by Shadows Fall (RVD) First few seconds that I didn't like this song was when they borrowed the chord for the lyric of "One Of A Kind" by Breaking Point who does RVD's theme now. Funny thing is that it's not a WWE thing that it's a Breaking Point thing. Other than that it suffers from the same problems that Homebwoi committed eariler on the CD. Please let this not be RVD's new theme. Breaking Point has done a great job with this. 11. "Some Bodies Gonna Get It" by Three 6 Mafia (Mark Henry) Man WWE must have been really lucky when they won the Oscar for Best Song for "Hustle & Flow" because they probably had them already contract wise. The last Rap Song on the CD. I'm kinda iffy on this one. This one has the ear marks of a song that COULD be something that can grow to me. But for right now, eh. 12. "With Legs Like That" by Zebrahead (Maria) I know this song was supposed to be for Stacy Keibler but now that she's gone it's for Maria. Two things: One, this song is so Stacy because Maria does not have killer legs. Two, this song is so bad and so gay it's wrong. To borrow something from "The 40-Year Old Virgin" here: You want to know how I think your gay? You like this song! That's how gay you are. 13. "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage They don't mention this but I'm betting this might be a theme song for Kane. Let me put this another way: SPEED METAL VERSION OF KANE'S CURRENT THEME SONG! Dear Lord! 14. "Booyaka 619" by P.O.D. (Rey Mysterio) Let me say this. If your going to have an artist on an album, have them contribute something to the album. Basically all P.O.D. did was supply the background lyrics, the guitars, and sing just one lyric on it. Rest of the song, Rap style by Rey Mysterio. This makes me want to kick Rey in the balls for letting the WWE do this. I like Rey, I like P.O.D., but this song makes me want to hate them both! ARGH! And I'm even more angry to the fact that both of them (Rey more so) made the word "Booyaka" stuck to my head for so long! DOUBLE ARGH! 15. "King of Kings" by Motorhead (HHH) I have to admit. Mercy Drive's track and this track were the reasons why I went out and bought this CD. And I'm betting a lot of ppl are buying this CD just for this track alone. What Motorhead did for this track is a rarity for WWE songs and Metal songs all together, they told a story within the song. Basically the song tells about a traitor within the mist of the King's kingdom, and the King kills them all and proclaims himself "The King Of Kings". HRM...... Sounds like a certain person we know now huh? Other than that it is definately a great song. Adding to that when you buy the CD there's an Instant Win Game Piece inside the CD and if you win. You could be heading to this year's Summerslam. Overall Review: I usually judge the worth whether the CD's good if there's at least 1/4-1/3rd of the songs are good. This CD is a good buy. But honestly if you want a WWF/E CD that's pretty good away from the WWF/E theme music go buy "WWF Forceful Entry" because that CD is way better than this one.

Why wasn't Kurt Angle's "Medal" (extended) or his ECW remix theme put on this album? That would've made this album almost perfect.
