One of the best wrestling games on the N64, definately an improvment over Warzone. Certainly one of the best four player games available although it is a little bit limited in one player mode, even with the excellent new career system thats one of the best new features. The main problem is the ridiculously easy computer opponents. Even on hard, they'll offer no real opposition. But combine the overhauled game engine with the new moves, intros, features and a much improved create-a-wrestler section and Wrestlemania 2000 has a lot to live up to. Just get your friends round for a match to get the most out of it.

I am a huge WWF fan and I bought WWF War Zone the day it was released. I had to buy this game so I got it the same week it came out. In my opinion, this is the best wrestling game ever. Unlike War Zone, Attitude features digtized theme songs of the wrestlers. The entrances are excellent. If you are even remotely a wrestling fan you should have this game. The only bad part is that Acclaim lost the WWF lisence to THQ. If you don't have this game yet, you'd better get it soon because Acclaim can not make any more copies.I understand that Acclaim now has the ECW lisence and is working on an ECW game, titled ECW: Hardcore Revolution, which uses the Attitude engine. It is set to be released February 17, 2000. If you din't have WWF Attitude yet, buy it while you still can.

Good for what it was but there were better WWF games later,

WWF Attitude was pretty good. It was basically an expanded version of WWF Warzone and this time around you had a lot more control in the game as in actually creating a wrestler instead of copying another wrestler's moves. The problem with Attitude was that the game was very predictable and after a while kind of boring because you could only do so much in this one. I will say that you got what you paid for because this game was entertaining and pretty fun to play with friends. You had a lot more clothing options with the create a character. One thing that bothered me about the Create a wrestler on Wrestlemania 2000 was that you had very few options with your wrestler's face whereas in Attitude you had dozens of masks, face paint and hats and several other items to make your character more individual. The one thing that isn't too great is that this game has a really tricky curve as far as the learning goes because the controls are a little tricky and weird and difficult (not as bad as WCW/NWO Nitro) but the game as a whole is still too easy (unless you get stuck in a 3 on 1 match, which might I add was a terrible idea!). I'd have to say unless you really want to check this out, I would rent this one first because there are much better WWF (now WWE) games out there and you could easily find a better one. Still if you must, go ahead and check it out!

You're Better Off Buying "Wrestlemania 2000",

This game was very disappointing because the characters are so dull. They are so slow when they move, and they surprisingly seem even slower when they run! They show no emotion whatsoever when they perform their finishing moves. Also, I know this game was released in 1999, but the roster is out of date. It is even more worthless renting the game. The reason it gets TWO stars is because the graphics are decent, and I enjoyed the Create-A-Character feature.

This game is a very fun game, but the weapons matches need more weapons. Also some of the controls make it difficult to play, and the list of moves are too short.

This is by far the best wrestling game out right now! Everything is great, except the gameplay is a little slower than I expected. Otherwise this is a great game! If you really want to play the game i suggest just renting it and then buying Wrestlemania 2000.

I was just plain disappointed with Wrestlemania 2K: it had cheap, cartoonish graphics and the sound was awful. This game has great graphics, excellent sound and an awesome create-a-wrestler feature. Yeah, some matches are boring and there aren't as many moves as in Wrestlemania 2K, but this is way more realistic and entertaining.

Attitude - Great Graphics, Poor Gameplay,

Attitude was way over rated, they said it was suppost to be the Greatest Game ever, but that is certainly not true. Acclaim does not make very good wrestling games at all. This game gets a 2 for several reasons. (1) The crowd is not into it at all in this game, it is one of the most quiet games I have ever played (2)The move list way too short, and too complicated (3)This game is a CLONE of warzone, but just more types of matches to choose from (4) And finally the Attitude entrances could be a lot better, they dont even show there entrances all of the time. Well if I were you I wouldn't waste 60$$ on this game, but spend your 60$$$ on Wrestlemania 2000!

Great if you are looking for an arcade WWE game; not great if you are looking for a simulation. Go to the Smackdown series or WWF No Mercy for the Nintendo 64 if you want the real deal. However, unlocking the secrets can be fun.

This was the much awaited sequel to WARZONE and I couldnt wait for this one to be released. But when it was, I found myself rather disapointed with a few things. Tho the graphics where better, the music was real and not midi, and there was a s*** load more wrestlers to choose from. There was so much effor put into the charactors that ACCLIAM completly ignored the fun factor, it was more fun in Warzone then in this one. They concentrated all there time on the charactor development and forgot to do anything about the crowed. There needed to be more then a dull arena that looked nothing like a WWF set.. well, maybe a house show in the 1970's but not the way it should have looked. Everything was too programmed and hard to watch sometimes. THQ had a breath of fresh air with REVENGE, but greatly imprvoed to the best WWF game on the 64 with there last one NO MERCY.
